Can't Help Falling In Love With You

It has been a week since Toni hung out with Alex. She has been able to control herself but it's becoming more difficult to hold back her growing feelings. Toni was acting like a school girl that has a crush on a guy in class. Toni was in her flat, watching her TV until she heard a knock on her door. She went to the door to open it to see it was Jinny.

Jinny: Morning, sunshine.

Toni: Hey...

Jinny: You just waking up?

Toni: Sort of. You wanna come in?

Jinny: I thought you'd never ask.

Toni moved aside to let Jinny in. She sat down on the couch and Toni sat right next to her.

Jinny: So how has everything been going?

Toni: It's been good.

Jinny: How has everything been going with Alex?

Toni: Everything is good. We're getting along as friends.

Jinny: Just friends?

She stared at Toni with a raised eyebrow. Surprised at how Jinny saw through the bluff, Toni decided to tell her.

Toni: Okay, you caught me. I am crushing on Alex.

Jinny: I knew it!

Toni: There... you happy now?

Jinny: Yeah, I'm happy for you. I actually have some news for you.

Toni: What is it?

Jinny: Alex actually had a girlfriend...

Toni: Oh... now I know I don't have chance.

Jinny: I'm not done. She actually moved away to Italy for work and they broke up.

Toni: So that means... I do have a chance.

Jinny: Yeah but you may want move quickly. A guy like that will attract women quickly.

Toni: Well, I may or may not have made the first move...

Jinny: Toni?

Toni: Actually never mind!

Jinny: Toni. Spit it out now.

Toni: Ok. So yesterday we went out shopping together. Afterwards, he was a gentleman and walked me home. Then, I kissed him on the cheek as a sort of thank you.

Jinny: How did he react?

Toni: I don't know. I closed the door out of embarrassment.

Jinny: I'm sure he has some mutual feelings.

Toni: How can you tell?

Jinny: Well, he protected you from another guy and he walked you home, despite him living in another flat.

Toni: You do have a good point.

Toni: I can't tell her about the dream.

Jinny: Toni, what's wrong. You staring into space?

Toni: What? No.

Jinny: Is there something else on your mind?

Toni: Well, can you keep this a secret? You won't tell anyone?

Jinny: I swear I wont. Whatever is said in this room, will stay in this room.
