Goodbye Nostalgia

Alex was meeting Jim  about tomorrow's title defense against the recent SSS16 winner, Will Ospreay. They were meeting at the PROGRESS Dojo as Jim was doing some paperwork. Alex drove to the Dojo in his Solstice GXP. After parking his car, Alex entered the Dojo and looked for Jim in the small office. He saw Jim was sitting in his chair, writing down on a piece of paper. Alex knocked on the door frame and Jim turned to see Alex. 

Jim: Ah Alex, you're here.

Alex: Yes, I'm physically here. 

Jim: Anyways, your championship match tomorrow. How are you feeling?

Alex: I'm set for it but I have a bit of proposal.

Jim: What is it? You want to include weapons?

Alex: Uh no. I'm not James. I'm talking about making this into a triple threat match.

Jim: Who did you have in mind?

Alex: Chris Ridgeway. I'd say it has it coming.

Jim: Hm... unique choice. A hard striker but he's reletively unproven.

Alex: But he does have potential and I'm willing to test him myself. 

Jim: Well, if you insist. I just need to contact him and see if he'll accept it on short notice.

Alex: I'd doubt he would turn down an offer like this. 

Jim: Well then, about that offer from New Japan...

Alex: Yeah... they offered me a contract to work for them.

Jim: I'm guessing that you want to sign with them.

Alex: I've considered it.

Jim: Well... after seeing what you've done in the UK, this is the next step for it. Go for it.

Alex: Really? 

Jim: Yes.

Alex: Jim... Thanks for everything.

Jim: C'mon, don't get all sentimental on me. 

They shook hands and pat each other on the back. Alex walked away and left the dojo. He was looking forward to meeting Chris once more. 

12:30 pm

Toni sat in her flat and on reflected the current situation. She was at the mercy of Chris' lust. She hadn't contact Alex for a bit of time and feared that telling Alex would cause him to leave her. Toni  thought about a possible solution as she opened up Twitter on her phone. As she scrolled through her feed, a tweet from PROGRESS showed up. 

BIG UPDATE: The main event for Chapter 17 will now be a triple threat match. Helios will defend his PROGRESS title against the newly added Chris Ridgeway &  SSS16 winner Will Ospreay.  

She saw this and then, an idea struck her. Toni dialed in a number and the call tone began. It continued for five seconds before the call was answered.
