Alex woke up after another weary night of wrestling, however that was the only thing that he remember from last night. He felt something off from Toni's demeanor when he picked her up from her Southside event. Alex wasn't able to decipher what exactly was bothering Toni as she acted more reserved than she normally was. He checked his phone and he didn't Toni's usually morning text. His 'off' feeling was justified. After taking a quick shower and brushing his teeth, Alex went to his kitchen to make breakfast. As he cracked two eggs on the frying pan, he grabbed his phone to call Toni to make sure that she was okay. However, as he was able to dial her number, he received a call from an unknown number and it's not from within the country.  

???: Hello, is it this Alexander Ramirez?

Alex: Yes, may I ask who am I speaking with?

???: I am speaking on the behalf of New Japan Pro-Wrestling. Our scouts have shown great interest in you and your performance at Dominion impressed us. With that, we would like to offer you an exclusive contract.

Alex: Wow... really? 

He paused as several different things came to mind like the PROGRESS title and the situation with Toni.

Alex: Um... how long do I have to decide?

NJPW Representative: Well, we are looking to sign you immediately however we do recognize that you are currently the PROGRESS Champion. We are willing to give you as much time as you need to not only drop the title but to also make your final decision whether you'd be willing to move to Japan. 

Alex: Thank you for understanding. 

NJPW Representative: No problem. When your reached your final decision, you can contact us at this number.

Alex: Alright, thank you.

After ending the call, Alex set down his phone and finished cooking his breakfast. After eating his meal, Alex went to the sink to clean the dishes. He wipe off his clean plate and places it on the nearby dish rack. Wiping his hands dry, Alex grabs his phone and tries to call Toni. He heard the ringing sound but no answer. His suspicious were reaffirmed and decided to check on Toni, in person. 

He went to his room to get dressed in his street clothes. After tying his shoes, he grabbed his keys and left his flat. Alex entered his car and slowly reversed into the street. Before finally making his way to Toni's place.

 5 Minutes Later

After a short drive, Alex parked near Toni's address. After putting the car in park and turning off the engine, Alex stepped out and closed the car door. He walked onto the sidewalk. After taking several steps, he saw his former girlfriend, Gracie turn the corner. He tried to turn his back towards her but his attempt to blend into the background was in vain. 

Gracie: Hiiii Aleeex.

Alex: Aw shit...

He slowly turned to face Gracie.

Gracie: Aw, what's wrong. You aren't happy to see me.

Not wanting this conversation to last long, he spoke.

Alex: Gracie, if you're gonna beg me to break up with Toni, you can forget it as it ain't gonna happen.
