New Eclispe

1. Arrival

Hi my name's Fiona Swan, but everyone calls me Fly. It's been a year today since Bella moved out, and moved in, with our dad Charlie, by choice. While i remained living with our mum and Phil, our step dad, but i've missed my sister for too long! So i decided to see what it's like living life in Forks.

"Fly!" yelled my dad and sister from across the front yard, as I kissed my mother goodbye and walked up to the house, i'd be hopefully spending the rest of my teenage years in.

"I've missed you so much" Greeted Bella as she pulled me in for a hug, nearly making me trip over my luggage.

"You've grown!" dad observed as he kissed the top of my head. I took my time to really absorb this moment, the smell of Pine in the air, how the slight breeze numbed my skin with its cool temperature, i took in everything i could.

"Sweet ride" i say tilting my head in the direction of the red truck.

"Fixed it myself, for Bella over here" i heard a voice interject from behind, as the clicking noise of wheels rolling over twigs made contact with my ears.

"Fly this is Jacob and Billy Black" Charlie introduced.

"Jacob? And i thought my hair was long" I say teasingly as i greet him with a hug. Bella had mentioned Jake in nearly all of her phone calls and i've even spoken to him in a couple.

"It's finally great to put a face to the voice" he said to me as we hugged maybe a little longer than we should have because it was Charlie that basically ripped us apart with his stern throat clearing.

We spent that night watching some football game as we ate our dinner and talked about past memories of cooking mud pies in the backyard as kids and getting lost in the woods.

"So we'ved had about twenty thousand phone calls the last year and you failed to mention just how hot Mr. Mudpie turned out" I say through a mouthful of foamy toothpaste.

"Mr. Mudpie?" Bella laughed, as she splashed her face with water. "Fly it's weird. You're both sixteen, i'm turning eighteen! Besides I have a boyfriend" she replies as she continued to groom.

"Oh right the infamous Edward Cullen. When do I get to meet him by the way?"

"Soon enough.  I think i have to talk to them before they have us both over for dinner or out for a game of baseball" she joked.

"Because you ended up in the hospital last time" i smirked but my comment made her flinch... maybe it was too much of a touchy subject?

"Uh.. just came back up to say goodnight" Jake said as he knocked on the door of the bathroom. How long had he been there for? Oh my god did he hear what I said before? My heart was pounding and my breathing hitched as he pulled away from Bella and walked towards me.

"You didn't turn out so bad yourself" he winked just as he left the bathroom making Bella choke on her toothpaste and my cheeks burn bright red.

Great, so he did hear me.

"Didn't turn out so bad yourself" Bella mimicked as she went to her room, still laughing.

"Bella, hey wake up" I whispered, softly shaking her out of her sleep.

"Wha-uh" she mumbled as she sat up and flicked her hair from her face and tied it back.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" dad and i yelled in unison as he handed her his present.

"I thought we said no presents" Bella frowned.

"Well, the one from me is not wrapped. So, it doesn't count" he defended.

"It's actually great. Thanks, Dad."

"Uh, goes with this one from your mum. We coordinated. Well, she coordinated me." Dad always knew how to make us laugh, well me laugh.

"My present is my arrival obviously" i say as i jump in bed besides her and help her unwrap our mother's present.

"We better get going, don't want to be late for school. It's your first day Fly" Bella instructs as she pulls me out the door and into the truck.

"Great" i reply half heartedly.

"It's going to alright! You said you wanted to meet Edward, well here's your chance" Bella said as she parked her car and helped me out. We walked up to a group of rowdy kids, Bella's friends.

"Uh hey, who's this?" asked the girl with the camera.

"My sister Fly" Bella awkwardly introduced.

"Hi" i awkwardly replied.

We shared a few words but they all seemed to flee as a silver volvo pulled up in the parking lot. By the way Bella watched the boy that came walking out the car door I guessed that he was the mysterious boyfriend, Edward Cullen. Boy was he pale or what.

"Bella, happy birthday," he announciated every word perfectly and spoke rather gently. "So you must be Fly?" He asked, squinting his eyes like he was trying too hard to read my body language.

"Uh yeah. You must be Edward?"

"Yes I am" he smiled as he stuck his hand out for me to shake, quite the gentleman i thought.

When we entered the halls of the school we were ambushed by the other Cullen's. I liked his sister Alice, we really hit it off, she seemed so sweet and bubbly. It's hard to get Bella out of her tomboy/awkward shell but Alice seemed to find a way as she revealed the dress that Bella would be wearing to some little party at the Cullen's home. I was ecstatic when she invited me to come along but I could tell that Jasper, Edward and definitely Bella were against it, for whatever reason I don't know, guess i'll find out tonight.
