“Fly he’s not in!?” Billy informed after me as I rushed past the door and barged into Jake’s room. I knew Billy was only trying to protect his son’s secret and in the long run protect me too but it did sting being lied to.
“He slept so peacefully I didn’t want to disturb him, I turned to leave his room and explain to Billy everything I knew when 4 boys in the distance, from Jake’s window, caught my attention.
“HOW COULD YOU! HE DIDN’T WANT THIS!” I call out to them as I stormed closer and closer, their presence only making me more worked up.
“HOW COULD I. WHAT DID HE TELL YOU?” bellowed Sam over Paul, Quil and Embry as they egged me on.
“NOTHING HE TOLD ME NOTHING BECAUSE YOU’VE SCARED HIM!” I yell back, their menacing laughter being to overwhelming I couldn’t resist. I slapped Paul straight across the cheek and that’s when things got a little…. Crazy. His breathing became heavier and hitched as his body jerked uncontrollably. Sam tried calming him down but was unsuccessful as the slightly thin Paul transformed into one of the wolves.
“Bella get back!” Sam ordered firmly, I ran back up to the house my pace fastened as I saw Jacob jumping the fence.
“RUN! JAKE, RUN!” I scream at him hoping he would listen but instead I found myself on the grass as Jake morphed into a furry brown beast himself.

Sam ordered Quil and Embry to take me back to his house once he could stop Jacob and Paul. It was quaint and beautiful much like his fiancé, I was told not to stare but it wasn’t until I entered the house and introduced myself that I knew what not to stare at.
“Sorry” Paul smugged as he walked past me and entered the kitchen.
“Fly” whispered Jacob as I followed him out and along the beach.
“So you saw Emily’s scars” Jacob stated.
“Yeah” I reply not sure where he was going with the topic.
“Sam lost his temper with her for a split second and look what happened. Permanent damage to side of her face for life,” he explained as he stopped in his tracks and spoke in the direction of the ocean. Not daring to look at me. “I don’t ever want that to happen with you.”
“Well can’t you find a way to just stop? I mean it’s wrong”
“Fly, it’s not something I can just turn off. I don’t believe this it’s not like I’m walking around drinking peoples blood” he defends finally facing me.
“You’re still killing people! Do you know how many animal attacks my dad has reported.”
“Look around Fly! We’re not the killers! The only thing that we do kill are vampires.”
“Jake I get that you’re big and scary when you morph but I really doubt you can take on vampires, they’re really fast!” I say thinking back to how Edward and his family had fled with Bella within the timespan of a single night.
“Really? Well we took that leech the dreads out easy enough” he shoots back.
“Laurent?”
“Yep, and his red headed girlfriend is next. We just don’t know what she’s here for.”
“Who?” I was completely lost, I didn’t even know who Lauren was until he introduced himself and welcomed himself to my neck.
“Victoria, the red headed vampire, ringing any bells? So you’re almost as new as I am to this whole vampire wolf thing. It’s nice to know I’m not in it alone” Jacob comforted.
“Likewise” I agree with a forced smile as all these thoughts of terror and death lurched in the back of my mind.

Ok so two things I knew for sure, Vampires existed and so did werewolves but who was Victoria? I needed to talk to Bella, did she not know that leaving me in a town with werewolves and vampires would be to stressful! I needed to talk to her and I needed to talk now and if the only way I could see her again was by putting myself in danger then so be it, cliff diving here I come!
I struggled my way through trees and bushes as I hiked to the top of the cliff that whole day I just couldn’t shake the feeling of being watched.
“What a beautiful view” I admire, breathing in the scent of the ocean mixing with the pine trees.
“Let’s see how nice it is from below” whispered a female voice from behind. My muscles stiffened, it took all the courage I had to turn around and face the pale fiery haired woman.
“Victoria?” I guessed.
“So you know about me?”
“Only your name. What do you want from me?”
“Well let’s see… how about I take your life? I mean it’s only fair. Edward killed James-"
"A boyfriend?" I guessed again.
"Correct. You're catching on fast. As revenge I was going to kill Bella but I can’t find her anywhere? So you will just have to suffice” Victoria menaced.
“No stop! They’ll know who did this and then they’ll come for you!”
“And at which point I’ll take the life of your sister and the two of you can spend the rest of your after lives catching up” she stated as she sped up behind me and held me captive in her supernatural grip.
With one strong push she threw me over the cliff and into the water. I burst out for air before being taken back under by large waves and that's when I saw her again. Bella as beautiful as ever, her hand reached for mine and I found my serenity again as my lungs gave out and filled with the salty water of the sea.
