What the hell does he wants? Get me in trouble with his brother? Shit.

"Hey beauty, can I come in?" he says looking through the door.

"Yes sure Shannon, what can I help you?" I say facing him.

"Nothing special, I just came by to say hi you know"

"Well, hi" I say laughing.

"So... I'm just going to ask... Are you single Harper?" he says giving me a look.

If I wasn't deeply madly in love with his brother I know I wouldn't be able to resist to his face. So I just laugh and answer him:

"Yes Shannon, I am single, actually I just broke up a long relationship and I'm not looking for anything right now you know" I say softly smiling at him.

"Oh, I'm sorry to hear that Harper. Are you ok?"

"Yes I'm ok, our relationship where gone much time before it actually ended so..." I say playing with my hair to hide my discomfort.

"So you are open to something new?" he says leaning over my desk.

Too close Shannon. Too close.

"I don't know... Maybe?" I say laughing again.

"Hmm.. good to know pretty girl" he says touching my hand. TOO CLOSE AGAIN.

"Shannon I'm really sorry cutting you off but I really need to finish this or your brother is going to kick my ass" I say pulling my hand back.

"My brother is an asshole sometimes, don't mind what he says, you'll get used to it with time" he says rolling his eyes "Well I'll just let you do what you have to do, this is my phone in case you want to talk or something" he says giving me a piece of paper along with his cute smile.

"Yes sure" I say nodding at him and when I take a glance at the door Jared is leaning on the frame just looking with fire in his eyes. I know I'm screwed.
