It's time.

The spruce doors slowly open, welcoming you to a start of something new... a new life. The incessant chattering ceases as you take your first step towards a new beginning; a beginning that is going to be memorable and exciting.

Every step you take is a step closer to this beginning - and you aren't alone in this journey. Familiar beaming faces - some teary-faces - greet you each step of the way. This is a day you've been waiting for ever since you were young. Except at the time, you only dreamt of it because you wanted to wear a beautiful dress.

Your parents' laughter filled the room as you twirled around in the white dress. "This day is so fun! I get to wear a pretty dress!" you exclaimed. As time went on, the desire to experience the day solely because you get to wear a lovely dress was gone.

But you still didn't put much thought into what this day really was for, because love was just an inane word to you. All you've ever known is the love you felt for your friends and family. All around you, both friends and family badgered you with one particular question: "Did you find love yet?"

You simply laughed in response every time, because love was nonexistent.

A warm glow permeates into the room, casting onto the male you've been eager to see. You stand before him with a warm smile as he reaches over to you, moving the soft tulle away from your face. Gold speckles dot his beautiful, beaming eyes - the very eyes you've fallen for over the numerous years.

The next few minutes seems interminable. Countless words fill the silence of the room, words that are the beginning to your new life. Your finger is lifted and a ring slips around it with ease. You follow pursuit, slipping a ring onto your lover's finger.

"Do you, (Y/N), take (C/N) to be your husband?" the wedding officiant questions.

Without hesitation, you say two simple, yet powerful words. The two words that will seal your future and eternal commitment to the male before you.

"I do."
