It was a cold and rainy night. You're watching Netflix, waiting for your boyfriend to come over from football practice.

-One hour later-

"Where is he?" You wondered out loud, sighing. You paused your TV show and went to the kitchen, rummaging through the fridge for food. In the end, you chose chicken noodle soup. Perfect for a cold day.

-Five hours later-

"Hm.. I guess he's not coming over today. Ah well.. I'll just call him tomorrow." You turn off the TV and head upstairs to get ready for bed. As you snuggle under your bed covers, fast asleep, you didn't hear your front door open..

Your bedroom door creak open slowly and quietly. You mumble some words.

"(Y/N)... (Y/N)... Psst..."

"W-What.. What do you want," you mumble lazily with closed eyes. "Go away. Shoo." You turn away from him.

He pouts. "Not happy to see me huh?" No response. "(Y/N)!~" He whines. You smile, holding in your laugh. You were actually awake the whole time, but you wanted to have a little fun and tease him for a bit.

He pokes your side. "(Y/N)!~" Silence. "Fine. Have it your way."

You thought he left. But, you were wrong. He climbs in bed next to you, wrapping his strong arms around your waist. He puts his face against the back of your neck. You blush a deep shade of pink as you felt his steady breathing on your neck. Your heart kept thumping. His body felt warm.

"(Y/N)..." He mumbles in your hair, holding you tighter. Your heart wouldn't stop beating. You squirm in his arms a bit.

"Sorry, did I wake you up?" (C/N) asks quietly.

"U-Uhm.. It's okay.." You whisper. He pulls you in closer to him, stroking your hair gently. "Good night (Y/N).."

"G-Good night.." You smile and snuggle up against his chest. "I love you (C/N).." You mumble as you drift off to sleep.

He smiles, blushing a bit. "I love you too (Y/N)," he says as he kisses your forehead and drifts off to sleep as well.
