Jesus Christ, we're already on part 5....

I may just end this around 10 chapters (Not counting any Author's notes or summaries of the books, so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯)

But let's get this over with....

____________________________________________________________

I looked around, only to see shadows, and 10 dark figures, with one big one in the middle...

And that figure seemed as if he was only made from magical energy.

The amount of magic just being radiated from him was just.... unbearable... It was almost as if it wasn't possible to have that much. Like it was the sum of multiple people's magical power all stored into this cluster of pure...

Power...

These people may come off as you as just a... plot device for whenever I want to make the story interesting, but I can assure you....

Think of the scariest person you know... and then quantify the fear that you experience....

And then multiply that ten fold.

He was scary as shit.

Anyway, I think I'm getting too carried away on how scary that dude is.

But he's pretty scary, though. ANY WAY....

I looked around the room, still dimly lit with the giant figure in the middle.

I hoarsely said, "So what the hell am I doing here?"

One of the figures on the left said, "William Rose. You consider yourself smart, do you not?"

"Yeah, what's it to you?", I responded, somewhat dumbfounded.

"So then use your brain, kid."

Then, the voice started to sound familiar.

Could it be him? No... But he...

I gotta keep him talking to confirm it....

"Yeah... about that... My brain doesn't really want to work."

The man responded, "Then make it work." He paused for a second. "Or I will", he continued.

"Then why don't you, old man?" I knew exactly how to push this guy's buttons.

It was like child's play.

"So why don't you, old man? Make me!"

The figure turned to his left to the middle figure and said, "Boss, can I take him?"

The middle figure turned and responded, "Just don't make a mess. We still need him for the plan."

Great. Another mystery: What the hell is "The plan"?

Time to use my brain, I guess.

[A/N: Don't. Make. Him. Use. His. Brain.]

So, to use my brain, I would usually have to stand somewhat still for about five minutes. Luckily, because of plot convince, I have been sitting still for around 10 minutes (Or however long it took you to get to this part in the book. If it was less than 5 minutes, then read it again until 5 minutes have passed. Please.), and then I usually have to go into my metaphorical subconscious and have a conversation that usually goes something like this:

Me, in subconscious form: Hey Brain.

My brain, lazy as usual: What do you want now?
