I woke up that morning, with a bit of a daze, whilst checking my watch
It read "10:43", and I remembered
I had to be downstairs in just about negative 103 minutes, to be there in enough time for Sergeant to show up, late, with Agents Jekyll and Hyde.
I then rushed to get dressed, brush my teeth, and get ready for the day.
I was about to walk outside my door, until I saw a note with a knife on it.
The handwriting looked like the Sergeant's.
It said:
"Meet at Chief Park at 11:10, we'll explain everything when we get there. Just don't be seen and come alone."
Well great. Now what?
I've got about 40 minutes to kill, so I might as well just head over to the park now. It's about 3 1/2 miles away, so If I go on my bike, then I can get there in just about 20~30 minutes.
But let's start this.
I grabbed my bike, phone, and earphones. (No helmet.)
I yelled to my parents inside, "I'm going to meet some friends in Chief Park, I'll be back by dinner!"
No response.
I then started petaling.
And continued petaling.
I rode down a couple streets, then transitioning to another street, to get to Chief Park faster.
I then saw kept going that regular way.
Just keep petaling, I told myself.
You'll get there eventually.
Eventually.
On my ride to Chief Park, I remember a man talking in a lecture hall, something about the human mind.
But there was one part that fascinated me.
It went a little something like this.
"It's such an amazing thing on what the human mind can do. It can direct your hands to make them do what you want them to do. It can remember the names and faces of at least 100 people, at just a base use."
I never figured out why it was so interesting, I just found it funny.
Just your typical twisted person's humor, I guess.
I eventually got to Chief Park, and I didn't see the Agents, or the Sergeant.
But what I did see?
Not a few cloaked figures, but a magical presence twice that of what I felt in the Confederacy's base.
I yelled out, hoping to get their attention, "CONFEDERACY OF VILLAINY! I CAN SENSE YOUR PRESENCE! NOW JUST COME OUT ALREADY!"
I figured that didn't work.
I was wrong.
I felt someone appear behind me with a sword, swing at my back, which I dodged, and rolled forward, then turned backwards to face the hooded figure with a sword.
"So you're the one Jacob sent this time.", I stated
"Who's Jacob? You mean Yakobu?", the figure asked.
"Yeah, sure, him.", I said, kind of bored.
The figure swung their sword at me, and I decided to try out my ADPM against a sword as a shield.
