Today, was Friday. Both Turner and Maddy had packed bags for the trip. They would leave straight when they got to school, and return Sunday afternoon. Turner parked his car in the school parking lot and made his way to the meeting area. After arriving on the bus, Maddy also made her way there. The luggage was loaded into a storage compartment, and the kids hurried on the bus and sat down. It was a long drive, but finally they reached the docks. Everyone quickly grabbed their bags and hurried on the boat. The boat ride was about 2 hours, but it was worth it. They had finally reached the beautiful island of Kabitari! They were escorted to a special resort right off the coast. As soon as everyone was assigned rooms, they immediately went up and unpacked. After, they came down to start activities. First they went to the beach, then they had dinner (because by that time it was late), then they watched a traditional Kabitari dance, and finally, they were at free time. Turner headed to the beach with some friends, while Maddy wondered around with a camera and a book. At last, it was time to settle in for the night. Each student returned to their rooms. It would be a big day tomorrow. They would be exploring the Kabitari caves. Turner and Maddy drifted off to sleep. They couldn't wait for morning to come.
