Goodbye Kiss

Everyone came rushing into the Mikaelson compound, Klaus was first, he went up the stairs and into Elijah's room with everyone following him.

As he entered he saw Elijah sitting on the end of the bed still getting a hang of his new hybrid powers, Klaus as well as Rebekah, Kol, Elena and Hayley were thrilled to see Elijah awake.

Klaus went up to his brother with everyone still crowded in the doorway, he put his hand on Elijah's shoulder and said his name, "Elijah", Klaus said testing his brother, Elijah slowly looked up and saw everyone there.

He saw Klaus and then started to tear up, "Niklaus am i- really here, is this real", Elijah said with a big smile.

Klaus hugged his brother and replied back, "yes Elijah this is very real", Klaus pulled out of the hug and moved out of the way for Kol an Rebekah to say something.

Elijah smiled at them and then ran up to Kol and Rebekah, nearly making them fall over because of how tightly he hugged them, they spoke for a while and then he saw Elena.

Elena smiled at him and she went up to talk to him but she was stopped when Hayley scoffed making Elijah and Elena hear her purposely, they exchanged quick looks and then Elena as well as everyone else left Hayley and Elijah on their own for a moment.

As Elena went out, she felt like it was the best and the worst moment of her life because Elijah was awake and he decided to spend his time with Hayley, Elena went out on the balcony and stood their having some alone time to herself.

Hayley walked over to Elijah and looked at him, she was thrilled to see him but she was hiding the fact that she cheated on him and she decided that she would have to tell him some time soon but not now. Now she just wanted to hug him and spend the rest of the night with him, "Elijah, are you feeling okay", she said putting her hands on his chest,

Elijah removed her hands of his chest and spoke coldly, "Hayley are you hiding something from me", her heart skipped a beat as she heard him say that but she quickly covered up by saying, "no Elijah I'm just really happy to see you that's all", Elijah walked over to his desk fiddling with one of his pens and asked her, "Hayley, you see this power that's inside me doesn't only make me more powerful, it actually heightens my feelings slightly and it helps me read people really easily", Elijah said cutting her of.

"Now if you'll excuse me, I would like to have a word with Elena", he said gesturing her out the door. Ignoring Hayley's angry and painful looks at him.

As soon as she went out, Elijah went to his mirror and checked himself out a bit before going out to talk to Elena.

Elena was standing in the balcony looking at the clear sky of new Orleans and listening to the music, she was thinking of mystic falls when her thoughts suddenly went on Elijah and him with Hayley just pained her even though Elijah never really cared about her.

She was too carried away in her thoughts that she didn't even hear Elijah approaching behind her. He looked at her and he instantly new that she was thinking about him, "Elena", he spoke with a softened up tone, Elena jumped a bit in shock and turned around and replied, "Elijah", she began to feel more nervous.

Elijah on the other hand was lost in the way she spoke his name out and how perfectly it came rolling down her mouth, "I believe that we hadn't quite spoken properly ever since I regained consciousness", he said looking below and then at her again.

Elena knew what he meant, "yes we haven't, but I thought you were going to spend tonight with Hayley", she said instantly regretting what she had just said.

Elijah smiled at her and then leaned his back on the balcony still not taking his gaze of her, "no, not really I don't really think that she likes me", he said looking at her, "but anyways, there's no where better I can be then here now", he said smirking.

Elena looked at the floor hiding her face which was blushing uncontrollably and then looked up at him turning serious again, Elijah realised her quick change of expression and he waited for her to speak, "Elijah", she said, he indicated for her to continue, "me and everyone else are leaving back for mystic falls first thing in the morning", she said.

Elijah let out a quick gasp and then quickly pulled it off by putting on a fake smile, "well I hope you enjoyed your stay here", he said feeling slightly hurt.

She looked at him and then nodded heading for her room to pack but Elijah held her arm and vampsped in front of her, she flinched slightly and then looked at him, his eyes were shining with love and affection. She stared at him and found it hard to breathe because he was so close to her.

He then finally spoke whispering quietly, "well if your going to go, than I guess I will give you a little something for you to remember your stay here In new Orleans", he said as he pulled her in, crushing his lips on hers. Elena gasped out of surprise but she quickly melted in his lips, her feet became wobbly but his grip helped her from falling. She could taste sweetness in his lips, a flavour that she could get addicted to. At first the kiss was slow and perfect but then it became more demanding and they wanted more, they couldn't wait any longer but they were interrupted by Bonnie.

Elijah and Elena are having a start to something, he still doesn't know about Hayley's secret, what will Bonnie do?! Find out in the next chapter. THE ORIGINALS V2
