-Ash's POV-
"Ooh look at that one" my mother says to me at knee level.
She points at a big and tall roller coaster. I look up to see the peek of the coaster, slowly rolling up and then quickly fall down. The people on that coaster screamed in excitement and terror. That gave me the chills when it dropped.
"I-I don't know mommy" I said. "That looks too scary"
"Hmm" My mon said, staring into my eyes. "Yeah, I know it looks scary, but that's the point of rides Ashley, it's suppose to look scary, but when you get on it, you won't feel sacred anymore and you'll realize how much fun it is"
I look down at the ground.
"B-but.." I said.
"How would you know you're scared of it if you've never been on it?" My mother said. "Don't let the things scare you keep you from having fun!"
I look back to my mom, as she stood up.
"Well, what do you say?" My Mom asked.
I turn to look at the roller coaster one more time, and thought about it for a couple of seconds. I breathed in a lung full of air in bravery.
"I say we go on it!" I said in confidence. "I-I'm not afraid of anything!" I yell out.
My mother laughs.
"Alright, come now" my mom offers me her hand.
I grabbed her hand without hesitation and glared at the big and tall roller coaster, like if I was angry at it. I kept pulling my face off like that until we finally made it to the front of the line.
"In ya go!" A woman instructed us to go in.
I gulped when I took a good look at the seats in the coaster. My mom gently pulls me in and sits me down.
"Alright, seat belts down" the woman instructed everyone on the coaster.
My mom put the seat belts and made sure it was secure, as the woman doubled checked everyone else's seat belts.
After the woman finished checking, I gulped again, and changed back to my angry face.
'I am not afraid, I am not afraid, I AM NOT AFRAID!'
A sweat dropped down on the side of my face.
"Enjoy!" The woman yells which snapped out of my small chant.
I gasped as the coaster finally starts moving. The coaster started to go slow, then it slightly starts to go up. I still have my angry face, until I closed my eyes tightly, bit my lip and squeezed my mothers hand tightly.
"It's alright Ashley" my mother said as she wrapped her arm around me. "I'll hold you when the drop comes"
After what felt like minutes, we finally made it to the top. I decide to open my eyes, and gasped at the view.
