Mac's POV
Uuuuugh
I thought as I took my time walking home from the store.
There could have been a better option.. right? I mean what was I suppose to do anyway? Maybe if I explain everything to Ash, maybe she'll.. no, I can't. Should I?

..
...probably not
"Make up your mind" I said to myself, putting a hand over my head.
A few minutes flew by as I finally reach my house.
It's only been half a day and I've already gone through too much
I took the keys out of my pocket to unlock the door.
Well, here goes nothing
I took a deep breath as I turn the key to open.
"Hey.. Ash?" I said, facing the living room to see no sign of Ash.
The living isn't that far from where I'm standing, so I can see the sofa where Ash was supposed to be.
"Ash?" I call out, walking over to the living room.
The blankets are still here
"Mac?" I hear a light familiar voice near me.
I turn to see Ash standing at the entrance of a hallway.
"Ohh Ash" I said in relief. "You're okay. Good, for a second I thought-Huh?" I paused, noticing how down she looks.
She wasn't making that face when I left to the store
Ash's eyes were more focused down on the floor than myself and her bangs covered her entire eye. She didn't even crack a smile either.
"Hey, is something wrong?" I asked.
Did.. did I do something wrong?
Ash sighed deeply as she slowly moves her eyes up from the floor. Then she starts hugging herself with her arms, rubbing them. The bag under her eyes deeper than before.
She's sick, but I know that type of look anywhere
"Is there.. is there something you wanna maybe tell me about?" I ask again as I stand and wait for an answer.

Ash's POV
I can't just keep being silent, not that he's here.. no, he won't understand
"Is there.. is there something you wanna maybe tell me about?" Mac asks, concern in his eyes.
I bite my bottom lip. "Uh-um..well it's nothing really, I...I.." I sighed. "I broke something"
"Oh, well that's alright" Mac said with a smile. "Did you thought I would be really upset about that? Pfft, it's okay Ash, accidents happen"
"Yeah.." I said. "Sorry for breaking it tho"
"What exactly did you break anyway?" Mac asks.
