-Mac's POV-
"Okay class" a female teacher said. "Today is father's day, and let's start by making cards!"
The class cheers. Accept for me. The one all the way in the back corner of the class.
Fathers day..
The thoughts of my father buzzed through my mind, a hint of sadness stirs in my heart.
I wish I can see him..
"Hey!" I dart my head to some girl standing in front of my desk.
She has blonde hair put up in two small pigtails and has the brightest blue eyes I've ever seen.
Her eyes, they're.. beautiful, it's like the ocean.
Her skin is pretty pale as it matched with what she's wearing. White shirt with a light pink skirt. She smiled as she kept both of her hands behind her back.
"Are you okay?" The girl asks, leaning in.
"Uhh.." being the most shyest kid I am in the whole class, I am also the quietest, so I stood hesitating on how to react or what to say.
Say something!
Before I can say something, she speaks out.
"Hi, my name's Ashley Compton!" Ashley walks up closer to me as I backed up my shoulders. "And who are you?"
I stared at the girl for a moment. "Y-You're new here, right?"
"Yeah I am!" Ashley happily said. "I'm actually from out of town but I heard this school is good for me to finish off the 4th grade! And what's your name? You didn't tell me yet"
"Uhhh, it's Mac Little.." I silently said with a blush as I look away from her.
"What?" Ashly said as she leans in closer to the side of my face. "I can't hear you" she playfully said.
"Mac little.." I did it again.
"What?!" Ashley yelled, which made me flinch.
"Mac little!" I said as I quickly cover my mouth.
That was a bit too loud!
"Hahaha! Little?" Ashley giggles. "Why is your last name little?"
"It just is" I blushed in embarrassment as I look down.
I always get made fun of for being the smallest in class..
"Well Mac" Ashley said. "You are now my best friend!"
Wait what?
I look at her in surprise. "R-really?"
"Yeah!" Ashley said. "Now come and help me make a card" she said as she grabs my hand and drags me out of my seat, almost tripping myself.
"Whoa-okay!" I said.
Time passes by as we both finished our card.
