Chapter 10 The Start of Another Year

Hey guys! Back once again.

How are you guys enjoying this so far? I've been a little worried since it's not been getting much views. Maybe I'm just worrying to much.

So, quick recap and onto the chapter.

We freed Harry from his Aunt and Uncle then got to hang around with the Weasleys. Then we got to see Hermione in Diagon Alley. Went to the bookstore and saw Gildaroy Lockhart and meet Hermione's parents.

Ok, that's done with. Now, without further adieu, let's get to it.

Your POV...

I walk onto the platform and look around. The train is getting ready to leave, so I quickly get my stuff put away and get in a car. I walk around, trying to find a certain brown hair girl I know. I find her in a compartment alone. 

"Hi Hermione." I say as I open the door.

"Hello Y/n." She smiles at me.

"Mind if I join you?" 

"Go ahead."

I sit across from her and smile widely.

"How have you been?" I ask.

"I've been doing well. Mum and Dad won't stop asking me about you now that they've met you." She smiles a little sheepishly.

"What have they asked about?" I tilt my head.

I see Hermione's cheeks turn a little pink as she opens her mouth to answer, but closes it again. She looks at me before looking away and finally saying, "Oh, not a lot."

"That's a lie." I lean my head forward on my hand. "What have they asked?"

Hermione looks at me and just as she is about to answer, the train starts moving. It jerks her forward and me back. Hermione falls into me and I catch her. 

"You okay?" I ask the girl in my arms.

"I'm alright." She says. 

I help her back into the seat and she decides to sit next to me. That's when Lt decides to appear in the seat in front of us. 

"Where is Harry and Ron?" She asks.

"I'm not sure. I thought they were with me before I got on the train. But I didn't see them after I dropped off my stuff."

"Hey you two." He smiles.

"Hello Lt." Hermione smiles. "It's good to see you again."

"Good to see you too, Hermione." He smiles and tips his baseball cap.

Lt has once again, changed as his story advances. He is currently wearing something that a normal teenager would wear: A sweatshirt with some jeans on bottom. Hermione notices this and looks at me. 

"What have you written now?"

I smile. "I was hoping you'd ask that 'Mione." I take out the next book in Lt's story. "I think you'll like this one." 

"And I can't wait for you to meet someone." Lt smiles.

"Who?" She asks.

Lt smiles, "You'll see. You have to read."

"Then, I'll get right to it." She giggles and opens the book. 

"Right. I think I'll start getting more ideas to paper." I take out my leather book and pencil.
