Ashers POV (omg something other than annie!🤪)
Do I feel bad about pressing Annie about this Hayden guy? Yeah. I feel like I pushed her away because I made her mad. So what am I going to do? I'm surprising her.
I didn't have any plans for today, so after my mom agreed to me surprising Annie, although she didn't like it because we just met, I was on my way. My driver picked me up around 12:30, and took my to where Annie was at. Although I was really surprised when I saw her snapchat and it said she was at Spring Ridge Academy, I'm not asking any questions, there's a reason she didn't want to share it with me on the plane. Apparently Mom had already cleared my visitation with the staff at Spring Ridge, so all I had to do was walk in.
They called Annie down to the office, but of course Hayden had to come with her. They walk in laughing, but as soon as Annie sees me she gets quiet.
"Asher? Um what are you doing here?"
"I came to surprise you. I didn't like how we left things last night and I wanted to talk to you. In person."
Annies face relaxes, and she tells Hayden he can go back to class. She walks over and hugs me, and says, "I missed you"
"I missed you too Anns"
We break the hug and walk into the lobby of the school, which is empty, since there's no classes today. Annie speaks first, "Asher it's obvious there's something between us. I mean come on, you're like the only thing I've been able to think about since my flight."
"Annie I can't get my mind off you."
"But Asher..."
"What is it Annie?"
"I think i kinda have feelings for Hayden, I mean it's too soon to be able to know if it's just a 'in the moment' type thing or if the feelings are legit."
"Oh."
"I don't know. I'm just really confused."
Annie looks up to make eye contact with me and I can tell this stresses her out, which makes me regret what I did next.
"Maybe this will help?"
I lean in and I notice Annie leans in as well, our lips touch and it's like we're moving in sync.
"Hey Annie are you- Oh! Um I'll just leave. Sorry."
