After I eat dinner with Jayden and her parents, I explain what's going to happen. They were as shocked as I was, but seemed to understand what my parents intentions were."You know, I believe that everything happens for a reason, Annie. And i know your parents very well, they would never to anything if they thought it would hurt you in the long run. I don't believe that your parents are doing this just to spite you, I think they have a very valid reason. You just have to trust them."
Although Jayden's mom had a point, I still couldn't believe my parents were sending away their only child. What kind of parent does that?!
"Woah mom you just sounded really smart. And for some reason the words that came out of your mouth, even though I didn't like them, made sense." Jayden tells her mom, hoping to get a smile out of me. Yeah they did make sense.
I excuse myself from the table and grab my phone from upstairs. As I'm leaving I hug Jayden and thank her parents for the dinner and advice. I head home with a lot on my head. Although I don't want to completely understand what Jayden's mom said, I do, and it makes sense. Mom and dad would never do anything to hurt me, at least they haven't in the past. But it's still stupid, how is sending me away going to make anything better?
"Julianna Grace Leblanc! Where were you? We've been calling you for hours!"
"Mom calm down, i was at Jayden's, I went to her house to talk and i ended up staying for dinner, that's all. I was going to sleepover but I decided I needed to come talk to you guys first."
"Well thank you for thinking about us, but you're not going to anyone's house this weekend. You're going to be right here, in this house, packing your stuff, and spending your last few days home with the family before you leave. Do you understand young lady?"
"Dad that is so unfair! She's my bestfriend, and you're already making me leave her, the least you could do is give me time to say goodbye."
"You can do that on Monday"
"Whatever"
I text Jayden, explaining the situation.
Bestie💘-
Hey J, my parents aren't letting me come back. They're making me spend this time with them.Bestfriend💗-
That's okay! Have fun. I'll see you Monday, you better not leave without saying goodbye!!Bestie💘-
I won't I promise."Oh Annie? You don't have a problem with flying alone right?"
"What?"
"We were planning on saying goodbye at the airport and dropping you off there."
"Drop me off?! You mean I'm flying alone too?"
"Sweetheart, we could only afford one ticket. At least it's first class! And we didn't get you one of those babysitters for the little kids that fly alone."
"You know what? Thank you. I'm done arguing with you. So thank you."
"Oh finally you've come to your senses"
"If that's what you want to call it then definitely."
I walk upstairs calmly, but I make sure to slam my door when I get to it. I guess I should start packing. There's not much more for me to do anyway. Since I'm basically on house arrest.

So Annie has to fly alone, and can't spend the weekend with Jayden, what else will her parents throw her way?
