The next morning, I'm woken up to the sound of my phone going off. I roll over and grab my phone from the floor. FaceTime from Asher🖤. I answer the call, and unplug my phone so I can roll over.
"Good morning sleeping beauty" Asher says with a laugh, seeing that I just woke up. "Asher it's soooo early", I whine back, annoyed that he woke me up early on a Sunday. Asher starts laughing, "Annie it's 12:30 in the afternoon"
"Okay and?!"
Asher rolls his eyes and pulls out his guitar, playing random chords and messing around. I watch him in awe, considering that I love guitar, and him playing it makes it ten times better. "Any requests gorgeous?" Asher looks at me with a smile. I blush at the nickname and say, "Where were you in the morning? By Shawn Mendes?" I smile just thinking about it, I've loved Shawn since I was 9. "Ugh you like him too?! Everyone loves him, but I can't. I just don't like that style of music" Asher says while rolling his eyes. "Okay don't hate on my husband like that. But I still love you though."
"Husband?! Annie do we need to talk?" I laugh at Ashers comment and sit up on my bed. "Asher I should probably go, it's almost lunch time." Asher frowns, "aw okay. Call me later."
Ashers pov
After Annie leaves, I look up the chords for the song she wanted me to play so when she comes back I can play it for her. It takes about an hour but it was for a good cause.
Once I'm done "practicing" the song I wait for Annie to call me back. About 3 hours pass so I decide to text her:

Hey Anns you okay?
Annie🖤-
Yeah I'm fine what's up?
Asher💛-
You said you'd call me back after lunch..
Annie🖤-
OMG ASHER
IM SO SORRY.
Kenzie invited me to the movies and I got all
caught up in time and completely forgot. I'm
really sorry :(

Annie🖤-

I frown, frustrated that Annie forgot about me. Everyone has been asking me to go live on Instagram, so that's what I do. I stay on for about two hours, guesting and talking to people, mostly about Shazam! and music. Once I get off I go and text Annie, but I see the little message bubbles from her texting me first.

Sorry! I'm back now, I'm in the car

Okay. Text me when you get home.
Then we can FaceTime, I have a surprise for you☺️

Once Annie gets home, we FaceTime, and she immediately asks what her surprise is. I play her the song on guitar, singing along. I get so caught up in the song I don't realize Annie is recording me. "Oh my god. Your voice. WOAH" Annie says once I'm down, making me blush. "Haha thank you"
"You are welcome Ash" Annie says with a smile. Annie looks like she's thinking and then jumps up. "Asher! What are you doing tomorrow?"
"School for a couple hours and then I'm free, why?"
Annie looks at me and smiles, "Come get me around 4:30, we're going to film a cover for that song, and we are going to post it." I smile back at her and say, "sounds good princess", which causes her cheeks to turn a shade of light pink.
