I'm really really sorry. A bunch of things came up but i still tried to write. So here is is but i am sorry for breaking my promise :)

I ended up wearing Harry’s oversized sweatpants and a shirt of his. I sprawled across the couch waiting for Harry to come out of the kitchen. Soon enough he walked over carrying two bowls of chips.

“So do I get to sit on my couch?” He asked clearly amused. I nodded but didn’t move. “Fine.” He laughed. “Be that way.”

Harry lay with his head on the other end of the couch but beside me so that his feet were close to my head. He handed me a bowl of chips.

“So…” He started, looking into my eyes. “What do you want to do?”

“Chill?” I shrugged.

“Chill?” He questioned.

“Yup. Just hang out and stuff.” I told him clarifying the concept.

“Alright. Let’s chill.” He said making me laugh. A comfortable silence settled among us.

“So what’s home like?” I asked him, trying to start a conversation.

“I don’t know. Normal? My mum, step-dad and older sister.” He told me. I nodded thinking. Not really sure what I was thinking about just…thinking. “So uh tonight…” He trailed off. “Well tonight it’s actually kind of a gathering or sorts I just want to make sure you won’t feel underdressed or whatever… Like I’m wearing a suite.” He told me. That kind of surprised me I thought we were just hanging out. “A bunch of people are coming. Even some friends from home will stay the night here.”

“Oh.” I paused. “What for?”

“We have this thing every summer. In early July we always have a summer celebration thingy. I don’t know what you want to call it. But there’s going to be dancing and stuff. A lot of people are going to bring dates.” He told me.

“I see…” I trailed off looking at my phone for the time. It was four and given that it was an event I wanted to get ready. I quickly texted Grace to pick me up, then to go to her house to get ready instead of our previous arrangements. I looked back up at Harry smiling. “So well I be standing there awkwardly without a date?”

He smiled brightly. “I hope not.” He told me. “I was wondering if you would want to go with me?” Oh my god. Oh my god. Oh my god.

“Yes!” I squealed in delight. I hugged him tightly.

“I’m sorry now I really don’t want to leave but I have to go. I have to buy a dress and get ready and-“

“Okay I get it. Should I pick you up?” He asked looking into my eyes again with a strong gaze that made me lose my train of though.

“Uhh n-no Grace and I will come together.” I stuttered. Just then my phone lit up signaling that Grace was here. I waved good-bye and he quickly kissed my cheek. The small action made my heart melt.

“I’ll see you later then.” He whispered before I left.

I smoothed out my dress again in Grace’s car. We were just about there. My hair was in waves and my make-up made my ocean blue eyes look even bigger. I ended up borrowing one of Grace’s dresses. It was floor length and very flowy. It may be long but it was quite the summer dress with very light flowy soft purple fabric and sleeveless, some up the fabric was slightly darker or lighter. All in all it was very pretty. Grace and I had told our parents that we were spending the night at a friend’s and would go to work together in the morning as we would. I quickly stole a glance at my cousin. Her dress was a light green that faded into white. Her hair was straightened and her blue eyes seemed to brighten the whole car. She parked and we got out of the car and started to climb the steps. “Please don’t leave me tonight? I don’t want to be alone.” Grace whined.
