The next day I got a weird text from Eleanor it said to meet her at a near by restaurant. This may have not been weird either than I haven’t seen her in like two years! I rudely drew my self from their lives just because I was to worried about seeing Harry. I agreed and was currently waiting in a booth for her. I was excited to see my old friend I just hope things wouldn’t be too awkward. But before I could even acknowledge what was happening Elle sat in front of me.

“Hi, I’m Elle.” She introduced her self and reached over the table to shake my hand. What was happening?!

“I’m Lauren.” I hesitantly told her.

“I texted you on Eleanor’s phone asking you to meet me here.” Elle admitted. “I really needed to speak to you.”

“Why?” I asked. “Why would you want to talk to me?”

“Because I needed to tell the truth.” Elle told me. “Harry doesn’t love me he loves you.” She told me leaning over the table.

“What?” I asked in bewilderment. I still didn’t understand what was happening.

“I couldn’t let you hate him. You’re too perfect for him.” Elle continued. “I met Harry in the Netherlands and we hit it off instantly, but even after he asked me out I felt like something was wrong, but I agreed anyways I mean who would say no to him!” She smiled. “Finally I figured it out. I figured it out when he told me he loved me. It was forced and it was a clear lie-“ Before she could finish speaking the waiter came over.

“Hello ladies may I offer you drinks or are you ready to order?” He asked.

Elle quickly flipped through the menu. “I’ll have pancakes and bacon please.” She smiled handing over the menu.

“Uh I’ll have the same.” I stumbled over my words handing over my menu. He excused himself and went to put our order in. Once he left Elle continued.

“So I needed to apologise to you. I needed to say sorry for staying with him. I just couldn’t break up with Harry because I loved him. I was his re-bound but I was okay with that. He isn’t right for me and I’m not right for him; you are. You’re his lobster.” She laughed.

“Of course I know it I just didn’t expect you to.” I laughed. She grinned.

“What can I say, I’m full of surprises.” Elle laughed lightly. I don’t know why there was just something about her easygoing attitude that you just couldn’t not like. She tossed me her phone. “Put your number in.” She instructed. “I want to see more of you.” She laughed. Then the waiter came back with our breakfast. We enjoyed the rest of our meal together laughing and talking about different memories and for some reason we just became really good friends in that short forty-five minute period.

Harry’s pov

I flipped through another picture on my phone. Why haven’t I deleted these? I have a girlfriend and she obviously has a boyfriend. I wait I remember because I was still in love with her! I looked at the picture again. Her brown hair was perfectly arranged we leaned in to kiss each other in front of the Eiffel tower. Aww god I missed her. It killed me when I saw her kissing that guy on campus. Why couldn’t she just love me? I ad Elle and she was great and everything but come on who could ever even compete with Lauren? Lauren was truly perfect. She was more beautiful than I ever though possible for any girl and she didn’t know it. She has the best personality; I should stop I could keep this list going all day. I wanted her back in my arms and I would do anything for that to happen.
