"Be more precise please. I look like myself too, no big deal there."

"Mom please! He told me I looked like Hongjoong! For god's sake I'm Hyungjoong to him!"

"Oh crap, that's right, I forgot you took a new name for this school, but isn't it kind of your fault son? you're actually the one hiding it, you know.."

"My fault? my fault? are you even thinking straight? You're the one who put me in the industry with my real name, giving away my school years to some money eaters! I just wanted a normal life! This was the only way to be like the others without getting mobbed or I don't know.."

"Hongjoong-ah, you know it's what your father wanted right.."

"Don't you fucking dare bring up dad in all of your bull. He wanted me to do what I wanted, and this, all of that superficiality, isn't it. And this isn't even the topic! Seonghwa is just too
nice to be lied to like I am doing! what does that make me? it's your fault! all of this!"

He didn't even wait for his mother to answer and stormed off to his bedroom, shutting the door before falling onto his bed, tears of anger streaming down his face. It was the first time Hongjoong felt happy to be in someone's presence and it honestly scared him. There was a reason why Hongjoong acted so solitary and barely talked; He was terrified someone would discover who he really was and use it to make his life hell or just spread it to the whole world. He just wanted to be a normal teenager who shared the same struggle as a person his age, working, studying, making friends. But what he hadn't thought of was the anxiety that would consume him as soon as he had stepped into the school, barefaced and under a fake name.
But everything was different with Seonghwa. The first time they met he had told himself the same old thing; don't get attached, don't be nice. But the blonde just wouldn't shut the fuck up and it had been impossible not to at least listen to him. So he did, he listened a little more everyday and grew (a little bit) fond of his daily ramblings, even though he wouldn't show it. Because it was bad, he couldn't do that when he knew very well he was a liar and couldn't bring himself to tell the truth. For god's sake, Seonghwa was a fan of him! it would destroy everything they had, but there was no turning back now, Hongjoong already felt his heart ache when he thought of the cute other.

        "I hate this.."

The constant tears that dripped down his face slowly started to calm down, until the point where they completely faded away. Hongjoong was left there, body numb and weak, spread on his bed and looking at his desk where throned a picture of his once happy family and self. He showed no expression, tiredness preventing him from aching even more. He was just.. so empty. And he fell asleep, empty.

At the contrary, Seonghwa woke up on monday feeling better than ever. Clear blue sky was welcoming him as he opened the curtains and he could almost hear small birds chirping up on a tree. Oh my god, I'm cinderella, shit. He laughed at the thought and happily skipped to his bathroom in order to get ready.
One may ask why he is so bubbly today, and the answer was H(yun)ongjoong. Saturday had gone so well and he couldn't wait to see his new friend at school. He had finally started to break his shell and Seonghwa was so happy to be the one to notice it. Hongjoong really was a sweet — and handsome— guy.
All those happy facts made him put even more glitter on his eyes, adding little stars at the corners of his eyes. He felt a weird kind of happiness, and he didn't really understand what it was, so he just washed it off with glitters.
Being late as usual, he quickly ran to the door, kissing his mother cheeks before running to catch the bus on time.
He finally arrived at school, happily skipping to where Yunho and Mingi were, being disgustingly soft with each other. Seonghwa just rolled his eyes and coughed, causing the two to shift their gaze to the glittery boy.

"Why so happy, noodle hair? your makeup is cool, by the way. Rollercoaster chungha could never."

"You better fucking excuse yourself to Miss Chungha before i snap your neck. And i'm just happy, can't i be?"

"You sure can Hwa! let's go to class before you blind someone with those stars."

The two older made their way to their first class; literature. Yunho could see something was up with Seonghwa; the blonde was usually bubbly, but this was another kind of bubbly; The boy was about to become a whole bubble if he continued like that. He really didn't know why but didn't want to stop his happiness, so he just went along.
But as they stepped into the classroom, he automatically understood what was the cause, and it made his eyes grow ten times bigger : Seonghwa, running to greet Hongjoong with the biggest smile he ever saw. (was an human jaw even capable to make a smile so big?)
He took his phone out and automatically called Mingi; he had tea.

    "Pumpkin! Seonghwa approached Hyungjoong!"

    "The boy can talk?"

"Of course he can dumbass, but I think it was why Seonghwa was so happy this morning, you know what I mean.."

"Noodle boy has a crush! Oh my god! I'm so proud of my son!"

"He's older than you Mingi! And that was totally not what I was thinking of! You know how Hyungjoong is.. He's going to hurt my hwa, and he's way too kind to be hurt."

"Shit, you right. So what do we do? Put a restraining order on them? I don't really see what we can do.."

"Why am I even dating you? I'll just talk to him at the end of the hour."

    "You love me! Bye baby!"

Yunho let out the biggest sigh and went to his seat, letting the two other their own space.

But Seonghwa would have preferred if Yunho joined them. Why? Because Hongjoong was back to state one: mute rock. The only answers he had gotten so far were a mumble along with a glare and Seonghwa was really lost— had he done something wrong without knowing? was something wrong with his family?
All those thoughts made him very worried, so he decided to take actions; he patted his shoulder lightly. Hongjoong tensed immediately, almost scaring Seonghwa in the process. He quickly pushed himself out of the touch and glared again at the pretty eyed boy; glitters mixing themselves with tears ready to fall. The honey haired could feel his heart break, but now wasn't the time to be emotional, he had made a promise with himself.

"What do you want, for god's sake?"

"U-uh? I.. I just wanted to know if you were okay! You seem kinda stressed and I don't like seeing you sad so I thought I could help.."

"And what makes you think we're friends? Leave me the fuck alone!"

With those last words, he quickly gathered all his belongings before storming out of the classroom, fist tightly clutched against his bag. i'm sorry, i never wanted to hurt you.
But Seonghwa was hurt. And the tears that threatened to fall finally did, washing off the little stars on his eyes. Why was it always like that? Why couldn't he meet someone without hurting? They only had met a few weeks ago but he was already attached to Hongjoong, he wanted to be close to him and make him laugh again, so why was he running from him? He didn't understand, and frustration was the only thing on his mind as Yunho dragged him out of the class, arms around his shoulders as he tried to calm the smaller down.
