13.

The two males laid flat on their backs, Seonghwa's head resting against Hongjoong's chest.
They had maybe been in this position for a good two hours, not talking at all after what happened between them. It wasn't uncomfortable though, in their case the silence felt right, almost soothing. However, the smaller soon decided to talk, deciding to finally break this atmosphere.

"Seonghwa..what are we?" Hongjoong breathed out, his fingers slowly stroking the other's fluffy hair.

"Korean..we're korean."

"I know, dumbass. I was talking about what are we! like.. r-relationship wise?"

"Ah." The chocolate haired softly sat up, locking eyes with a blushing Hongjoong. He put his chin on the palm of his hand, humming shortly. "I don't know, what do you want us to be?"

"I don't know, that's why I'm asking you!" He huffed.

"From my perspective, it's actually pretty simple. I like you, you like me, and we kissed.. that's a very boyfriends thing to do, isn't it?"

"It is.. it is.. b-but I'm kind of scared you know? I really like you and in no way I would be ashamed to go with you. It's just that I'm so scared about everything around it, for example school? if I announce my relationship to everyone, everyone will know who I am and it will affect you and your studies, which I of course don't want to but a—" Hongjoong's words were cut off by a pair of lips smashing against his own. His eyes were shot open from the sudden movement of the other, totally not expecting for his voice to be cut off that way; not that he complained.

"You talk, and worry way too much." Seonghwa beamed, laughing softly before nuzzling his face against the crook of Hongjoong's neck, a smile sending shivers through the smaller's spine. "I quite don't care about what will happen, it has to. And we can't change other's eminent reactions, as well as we can't change people at all. The most we can do is try to live our lives as normally as we can, and stay by each other's side! okay?"

A few seconds, almost a minute passed. Mostly because it took some time for Hongjoong to take in account of the situation in itself, not the words. Seonghwa was being really affectionate with him and he was not used to any kind of physical interactions at all, let alone romantic gestures. His whole body felt stiff— even after many kisses and previous hugs from the other one. His heart told him to chill out and just act cool with it, but the tiniest part of his brain was still reluctant about everything, overshadowed by fear.

"Y-yeah.. I guess. But is it okay if we wait just a bit..? Everything seems a bit too rushed for me, and I just don't want to mess everything up with y-you." Hongjoong quietly admitted, "I've never done anything like that and I just don't know how to proceed everything, is it okay with you? if we.. we do it like that?"

Seonghwa eagerly nodded, cheeks slightly burning out of embarrassment. He didn't mean to scare him off, and even more pressure him into something that the both didn't want or felt comfortable with. And to be honest, Hongjoong was rather right; everything was bound to go too fast and eventually fail if they just followed his way of seeing things. He quite hadn't realised their current situations, how recent the understanding of their feelings was, and the two's obvious lack of experience.

But with a little time of thinking, he realized it was actually a very good idea. They still needed to learn so much about each other, they needed to properly fix some things up; to make sure they wouldn't break the messily patched up parts of their tormented souls.
They needed to go on cute dates properly, spend actual time together before jumping on the "dating" part— which wasn't even that important, right?

As long as they loved each other, they would continue to bring glitters over the outlines of their lives, as dark as the inside can be.
