"What's happening?" I ask myself while driving. It is 7:45 am in the morning when usually, vehicles take over free spaces on certain roads. It is supposed to be peak hour but this is not what's happening today. It smells like holiday, or pretty much like city abandonment. But no, it's just another ordinary day, with an extraordinary condition. There are spaces! Breeze! And I could breathe better than usual. I guess I'm not the one who enjoys driving on a day like this. Every pace I pass through is a step leading to the place I have set for.
Just like the road condition, our lives are so much secured in God's hands. You may cry yourself to sleep at night. You may find it hard to keep going day by day. I can relate because at times I find myself dealing with the same thing as well. However, that kind of thing remains only within a limited period of time and what lasts forever is the joy that God has had in store for us (Psalm 30:5).
Wake up and remember that He has already had everything figured out. You just need to respond and step out.
_______________________Ps: These days, I have been reminded of this word quite a lot from my fellows.
Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth. - Psalm 46:10
