"Good morning, Abba! Here's another day I cannot make without you."

If praising God means being woken up by alarm clock, we all had better set our phone's volume super high. Life is not a fairytale where you can wake up to royal breakfast in bed, beautiful birds singing and chirping, or to other dreamlike types of stuff. To some, waking up means having to start another day with heavy traffic jam, crying babies, piles of papers, long hours of work, complaining costumers, and worst-case scenario, yourself. Maybe you have made a mistake or faced a complicated issue and are afraid to show up again. The good news is God is there to help you. Praises towards God takes nothing but a receptive heart to embrace of His goodness despite any kind of badness happening around. For instance, I have been down with my fatigue. I have tried ways to cope with it but all seemed to help temporarily. I told my teacher that back then, I would run around, and now even getting out of bed is something I have to put effort into. I have been craving for sleep more than I have for food. By replacing this condition with praises to God, I find a reason to receive His wakeup call. As long as we still live on this earth, some ways we put up with things may wear us down, but God is always there to keep us awaken to His truth and spirit. I have witnessed and experienced His power in every weakness; therefore, I honestly hope for you to be empowered by this same thing.

Surrounded by all the sounds and noises, can we just answer His wakeup call today?

1 Peter 4:11 "If any man speaks, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion forever and ever. Amen."
