(Alexis)

The first week in my new house was better than I thought it would be. Aaron and I went on walks and he showed me around somewhere. My dad bought me few things that I needed for my room and now it is even more comfortable and welcoming than it used to be.

Today was Sunday and that means that tomorrow is my first day of school. If I had to describe my feeling right now, the word scared would be too primitive and meaningless here. I am aghast and the more I think about it, the more stressful and scared I get. What if nobody will like me? What if nobody will want to be my friend? What if I will be alone the whole time and will look like a freak?

“Stop, Alexis! Stop right there!” my mind was yelling at me. “Since when do you care what anybody thinks? You had friends at old school and you would have them here. Stop being pathetic and pull your self together!” Right, I am not a freak and of course I will make friends here. If not, then I would show everybody what I worth and what they are loosing by not making friends with me. If this means going alone, then I will do it and I have to block these thoughts and hide them far away in my head. Strangely, it was a cloudy and windy day, but I decided to go for a walk anyway. I need to clear my head and distract my self and going outside is my favorite and easiest way to do this. I put on my skinny jeans and grey hoodie, plugged the headphones in my ears and headed downstairs. I was home alone as Aaron went out with his friends and my father had some work meeting, but I had my own keys anyway. Once outside, the cold wind hit me right in the face. It is good that I had made a bun because if not, my hair would look like a mess afterwards. I closed my eyes and breathed in the cold, but refreshing air and began my walk.

After 30 minutes or so, my hands were nearly icy. Yeah, I get cold very easily, especially my hands. When I decided to go back to my house I saw Starbucks. Thanks, God! Nice, I always had money with me, so I headed to Starbucks instead. That's when I heard the sound of the incoming message.

“Hey, baby sis, I am home, where are you?” - Aaron

Oh, crap! O forgot to leave a note for them explaining where I went, so I hurried to reply to him.

“Sorry, forgot to leave a note, it won't happened again:) I went for a walk and right now decided to go to Starbucks, I will be home soon!” - Alexis.

Just when I send a message (at the same time as entering the cafe) I lifted my head up and bumped into something hard. While falling to my butt, I felt something liquid and extremely hot sucking into my chest and my hoodie. Don't tell me it is coffee because it is my favorite hoodie! Knowing my luck, it is the coffee of someone I bumped into.

When I finally landed on my butt, which maybe looks like it took a lot, but believe me it didn't, a gasp escaped from my mouth and I said.

“Ouch!” That is all I could say. Okay, let me get something clear, it does hurt and if you have ever been in a situation like this, you will see my point. Even if I was cursing in my head the person who stood now in front of me, I was in a good mood and definitely was not going to shout at him, but I did want an apology.

“Look where are you going!” A deep husky voice told me. So, you can imagine how amused and angry I was when I heard it. Is it an apology? My head shot up and I glanced at the boy who destroyed my hoodie and my mood as well. He is probably 17 or something. However because of his height he looked older. His blue eyes were looking at me with curiosity. Is he checking me out? No, boy, I can't be put down by someone so easily. That is when an answer came automatically in to my head.
