When I walked into the area for Siren Rooms, there were already 3 Monsters there.

The Siren Rooms each filled 4 per room, and four beds with little space between were lined against the wall that was The Siren Rooms were the closest to the ocean, for obvious reasons. Through a circle shaped window, above each bed, you could catch a clear view of it too. The walls were made of stained glass, making the room seem as if

rainbows were bouncing off the walls.

"Woah." I breathed, playing with the ends of my long blonde hair. The three Sirens turned around to look at me.

The Siren with long curly red hair started talking, "Hey...aren't you that girl-"

The one beside her, with dyed blue hair matching her eyes, interrupted her.

"Who started talking about Monster Hunters-"

"And made Madilyn really angry." The last one grinned, finishing their sentences in

her own way. I grinned back, immediately liking this Siren with short dark brown hair and

green eyes.

"Ironic isn't it?" I smirked, then realized they didn't understand. Did anyone

understand me here? I thought as I opened my mouth to explain.

The Brunette girl beat me to it.

"Because her name is Madilyn and made her mad? Nice." She rolled her eyes.

The two other Sirens moved away from us, probably still understand, or didn't want to disrespect their director. I left my place standing by the door and went over to the Siren.

"Aspen Hunter." I offered my hand.

Taking it she answered with a mischievous smile, "Valerie Warrior."

I cocked an eyebrow. "Seriously?"

"Your talking," She scoffed playfully,

"Aspen? Hunter?"

"That's my name don't wear it out."

She laughed, her green eyes brightening. "Did you just quote Grease?"

I grabbed her arm jumping in excitement. "You know what Grease is?"

"Of course! Who doesn't?"

"Every Monster here," I deadpanned. "Not including us, of course."

"Seriously?!"

"That's what I said!"

Valerie scrunched her eyebrows, "I don't know how I can go on."

"How can you even get that close to them?" I questioned, going on when I saw her look of confusion. "I barely can stand beside these people without wanting to puke."

"Why?"

"Their clothes," I said in an over exaggerated whisper. "God, its like they have no taste at all."

"Sure. It's their clothes that are disgusting." Valerie cracked a smile.

I chuckled. "So you do agree though? How do you put up with it?"

"I force myself to always smile, so then when I'm disgusted, it looks like I'm constipated or very, very happy that I haven't eaten in forever."

I giggled, "I would die to see that."

"Hey, that reminds me, do you want some-" Valerie looked around playfully to see

if the Sirens were still in here. When their absence was confirmed she continued, "-chocolate?"

"Chocolate?" I gasped with mocked incredulously.

Looking up from the floor, where she was digging in her suitcase, she shrugged, smiling.

"Hey, sometimes blood gets boring."

"Just kidding," I unzipped my suitcase that I had left by the door. Grabbing four Fruit Smiles from it, I smiled back. "Straight from my childhood."

About to open them, the Castles intercom went off in our rooms.

"ALL MONSTERS REPORT TO THE CAFETERIA,"

As we set our stuff down, I stuffed the packages quickly in the inside pocket of

my cardigan. When we got to the Cafeteria, it had no tables and was crowded with Monsters. In front of the Monsters was a stage, with the one and only Madilyn.

Even with her sunglasses, you could see clearly that she was enraged. "Everyone, ssome might know why you are here, ssome may not. Anywayss, four Monstersss have

been killed."

Somehow Valerie and I got separated, I now was squished -not-so-subtly- between

two guys. One Vampire, one Werewolf. Around us, many had frantic and dismayed faces. As I faked a gasp, the guys chuckled.

The Werewolf leaned in and whispered in my ear, "Smooth, Aspen. Smooth."

Ignoring him, I turned toward the Vampire and clutched my heart dramatically,

"Those poor Monsters."

About to fist bump him, a Witch suddenly turned around and looked at us, "You guys look so much alike." she said.

A fae jumped into the conversation, cocking an eyebrow, "A Vampire and Siren?"

The Witch nodded, confused. "Do you know each other?"

I met eyes with the Vampire beside me, who was grinning and I grinned back.

"Nope, not at all." He said, his glinting blue eyes looking back to the Witch and Fae. "Haven't seen her before in my life."

I backed away casually, trying not to draw any more attention for the second time

today. Consequently, when turned around sharply, I ran into someone and my Fruit Smiles

went sailing from my pocket. The rambling of the Monsters piercingly cut off, and so did

Madilyn's. Every head turned towards me, creating a circle of Monsters around my body.

Picking up the packages, my azure eyes met with cold hard stares.

Playing with the end of my dress, I smiled sheepishly, "What did Fruit Snacks ever do to you?"

I glanced around seeing a mixture of confusion, shock, and suspicion on the

Monsters faces. Over by the doors was Valerie doubled over laughing, and the Werewolf

and Vampire I was recently by, had their hands covering their mouths, shaking their head

in amusement, trying to hold their laughter in. I mean, I grunted in my mind, this situation is quite ridiculous. I then looked up and saw a red-faced Madilyn stopping over

towards me, my tiny smile swiftly dropping.

"Everyone is disssmissed!" She screamed and they scrambled, not having to be told twice, alarm written all over their faces.

"You have done nothing here but cause trouble!" She screeched at me, her snakes

hissing violently. "You have interrupted my introduction and now my mourning asssembly!"

Madilyn took in a deep breath, "This is my last sstraw. Next time you're dead, not breathing, not liv-" She made a 'slit throat' sign. "-ing, nada." She then turned around, her heels clattering against the floor.

"I know what dead means, Idiot," I called back to her.
