"Never judge someone without knowing the whole story. You may think you understand but you don't."

-------------------"Hey that was rude. You literally jumped on me like a monkey. You didn't even let me say hello to your mom" Clara said complaining as we approached her car.
She was right. I was planning from the morning to stop Clara from meeting my mom. I knew I would be in a big trouble if my mom caught my lies. So when she arrived I ran outside like a crazy person to prevent her from entering our house.
"Stop whining big baby. We're getting late" I chuckled putting my hands around her arm and pulled her towards her car.
"Whatever" she rolled her eyes and we drove off. Phew that was close.
At lunch break me and Clara were sitting in the cafe. Liam and Frederick joined us for a little while, but left early for their football practice matches. Me and Clara were laughing about some lame joke told by Frederick. Suddenly Clara's face paled.
"An-Andy he's coming towards us" Clara said in low fearful voice. I was surprised by her sudden change of expressions.
"Who?" I said turning my head slightly towards right and my breath hitched in my throat.
Mark was walking towards our table along with his best friend Chase.
My heart was throbbing at the rapid pace at possibility of some unwilling scenario, but I composed myself."Don't worry. If he'll try to make any move, I'll totally kick his ass" I said jokingly to Clara to lighten up the mood. She nodded trying to hide her fear but it was clearly visible in her eyes.
Normally Clara was not a person to be intimidated by others easily. She was outspoken and friendly with me, Liam and Frederick. But she was unusually scared around Mark and I didn't blamed her for that. After my previous day's encounter at his house I knew he was capable of going to any extents to ruin us.
All the girls in cafeteria were watching him with dreamy eyes I rolled my eyes at their naivety.
I inhaled deeply and mustering all the courage looked towards Mark with a warning glare. He raised his eyebrows as his eyes met mine. And suddenly his usual stoic expressions changed to amused ones. He kept walking towards our table not breaking an eye contact with me.
As he reached side of our table he stopped. Clara was pale and my heart was throbbing fastly but still I managed to look into his eyes warningly and waited for him to make a move. But to my surprise he directly went towards an empty table beside us. Looked like he was just provoking me. Jerk.
Clara was looking at me unbelievably with a shocked expression plastered on her face.
"Hey I thought we'll face his fury, but he looked unusually calm today. It's like he had forgotten all about that incident. This is so not like him." Clara said in low voice. She looked like she was still trying to believe her eyes.
I felt sudden sadness remembering previous day's incident. How can I tell you Clar he haven't forgotten about it.
"His moves are something that we can't predict. We must be careful around him. Let's go out of here for now" I said standing up and looked towards table beside us where Mark was sitting. He was discussing something with Chase. He caught me glaring at him, but as usual he was amused. I wanted to puch him so hard, but resisted the urge.
"Yeah let's go." Clara stood up and we went out of cafeteria.

"Hey honey is something bothering you?" I was broken out of my reverie by my mom. We were at the dining table for evening snack, but my appetite was lost.
