"No, I am not bitter, I am not hateful, and I am not unforgiving. I just don't like you."

Finding my third class was as difficult as finding all the other classes. By this time I was little annoyed.

"I love it how beautifully this college is designed like a maze, I keep coming back to same spot again and again. Losing my classes is super fun. Yayyy" I muttered sarcastically.

After my third class was over. I decided to call Clara. I dialed her number. She picked it up in two rings.

"Hey where are you right now?" I asked her.

"I'm at cafeteria. If you don't have any class right now, come here." she said.

"I wish coming to cafeteria was that easy in this small college" I heaved a sigh. "Well if you don't want me to be lost for the fourth time today, then please tell me an easy way to reach there."

She chuckled and said "Don't worry girl just enter the third building and you'll automatically see a huge cafeteria."

"Phew, that's a relief" I said and hanged up.

Seriously what was need to build this huge college with cafeteria in some other building!! For me its answer was real mystery, most probably locked inside minds of the billionaires who came up with idea of this campus.

"Finally, you're here. I was scared you'll reach by tomorrow." Clara said taking a sip of her cold-drink.

I chuckled and sat on a blank chair in front of her. "Yeah I was planning on that, but my silly friend was missing me a lot so I changed my mind".

"Hey I'm not silly" she pouted cutely.

"Okay you win pretty girl"I ruffled her hair and said "Now are you planning on feeding me with your words. My stomach is growling like a starved caveman. Let's get some food already".

She laughed, "Aye aye captain".

"Two burgers and iced coffees please" I ordered a middle aged man sitting at the counter. Beside counter was a huge kitchen where some chefs were preparing different kinds of meals. Even cafeteria was huge and incredibly built.

"Okay mam, please collect your bills from the second counter over there" he pointed to another counter where a young guy was seated.

"I'll go grab the bills, you take your order" I told Clara and went to collect the bills.

"Your bills are ready mam" counter boy said polietly. I thanked him.

"What the f*ck" I was distracted by an angry voice of, wait-

Mark Winston.

As soon as his name registered in my mind my head snapped in that direction at the lightening speed. I froze as I was greeted by an extremely shocking scene.

Clara was shaking with fear. And a very pissed off Mark was giving her a murderous glare. Her iced coffee cup was on the ground and its contents were spilled all over him.

The usual rattling of Cafeteria was replaced by an unusual silence, such that you could only hear breathings. Every person was now looking at Clara, some amusingly and some with sympathy.

"Are you blind?" he said giving her a deathly cold glare. "Better throw away those glasses, as they are totally worthless".

"I'm so sorry. I didn't mean-"

"Sorry? Do you think this meaningless word works everywhere" he asked coldly.

"I-It wasn't intentional, please forgive me." Clara said, her voice shaking with fear.

"If you're that sorry, than wipe it" he said with an aloof expression, pointing to his shoes where iced coffee was spilled. He had a chilling aura around him, which was giving away his unaffectionate and frozen heart.

"W-what?" she looked shocked.

"You heard me." he said indifferently.

Clara was standing helplessly, as tears started to form in her eyes. With the shaking hands she took out a handkerchief from her pocket. That's it, I can't take it anymore.

"Are you deaf jerk. She said she was sorry. And if she apologized, then that's enough" I said angrily as the limit of my patience was totally crossed after seeing Clara in tears. She didn't deserved meaningless wrath of that jerk.

All the eyes in cafeteria were on me now. They all were giving me a surprised look as they weren't expecting a nerd to stand against a worshipped devil. And here I was planning on surviving my college in shadows. Damn.

"And who in the hell are you? Is it your concept to not know your place and mind others business?" He looked pissed off.

"I clearly know my place and my concepts are clear as well. It distinctly says to never leave my friend alone while she is meaninglessly being tortured by a jerk. But I guess a rich spoiled brat like you could never understand meaning of a true friendship."

His angry expressions suddenly changed to amused one. He called a brunette boy I guess one of his minions and discussed something with him secretly. After discussion was over he was more amused.

"So you are a transferred scholarship nerd from Canada. I guess they don't teach you manners at your place, so I could cut you some slack here" he paused for a bit and continued with a warning glare "But listen carefully you foolish nerd if you want to survive in this college you are going to respect me or else you will regret it."

He was pissing me off so badly that I wanted to puch him senseless, but I controlled myself and said, "First of all talks about manners doesn't suit you. Secondly, respect is earned, not demanded. Rather then worshipping an asshole like you I would prefer to worship a devil. And if you ever dare to lay a finger on me or my friend, you're going to be the one to regret it."

I was expecting him to be extremely angry at this point but contrastingly he seemed to be more amused then ever.

He came closer to me and smirked evilly "Okay nerd let's watch some powerful friendship of yours then. If you want me to forgive that precious friend of yours, then be my slave for one night and I'll forget that it ever happened"
