"Whatever our souls are made of, his and mine are the same."
-Emily Brontë, Wuthering Heights
--------------------------------------------------Andy's POV
I realised he wasn't my imagination he was actually sitting beside me. It seemed like my wishes were working against me nowadays, whatever I wished for its exact opposite happened. I remembered wishing for staying away from him, but here he was sitting beside me, where I didn't had a choice of escaping him for next sixteen to seventeen hours.
Hah, like staying away from him was what you actually wished for.
Sometimes I really hated the guts of the tiny voice inside my head.
Though my heart was fluttering, I decided to pretend his arrival didn't affected me. So I raised my head confidently.
"Oh it's you. Actually I wasn't ignoring you I was taking a nap." I said in a bored tone.
He looked at me with an amused expression "That's the most weird way of taking a nap. Do people in Canada take naps like that?"
"No we don't." I scowled at him. He chuckled. Idiot.
I had gone to camping in school and with my family back in Canada, but we went to nearby camping sites. This was the first time I was traveling this far. Fortunately it was a highly luxurious bus suited perfectly for the seventeen hours travel. Its seats were convertible and leg space was sufficient for a window seated person to move around comfortably. There were curtains on all the sides for privacy, currently which were not drawn in the most of the seats. I looked around and saw many girls stealthily looking our way and gossiping. Some were looking at me with envy. I shook my head.
My focus shifted back to Mark's ringing phone. He looked at it and his expression turned irritated.
"What is it Stephenie?" He asked.
Oh so his girlfriend was calling him. I didn't knew why I felt a sudden twinge in my heart, but I ignored it. I don't care if he had one or thousand girlfriends. It's none of my business.
"Just when did I told you I'll take you to Paris? Stop being delusional." He said annoyed. I was able to hear a faint whining in his phone.
"You are with whom.... Oh.... Ask Olivia then. I'm busy right now. Don't call me." With this he disconnected his call.
I wasn't surprised to hear Olivia's name. It was obvious Stephenie would be friends with her. I just wished to never encounter her while I'm with Olivia.
"Why haven't you brought your girlfriend with you? She is such a delightful person." I said to him with a sarcastic smile.
"You know it looks good on you." He looked at me with a teasing smile.
"What?" I asked raising an eyebrow.
"Jealousy." He said smugly.
"Ugh, you wish." I rolled my eyes. He chuckled.
"Checkmate," he said moving his knight blocking the final path for my king. After a long banter on the games, we both agreed on playing chess, due to our mutual liking for it. We were playing virtual chess on his tab. I was extremely confident that I would beat him, but damn he was a good player.
"Noooo, you cheated." I whined.
"You never accept your defeat nerd. Do you?" He asked with amusement.
"I do. When someone don't cheat." I pouted childishly. I knew he didn't cheated, but I wasn't planning on accepting my defeat so easily, because we both made a bet that whoever loses have to fulfill a wish of the winner. I wasn't planning on losing that bet so easily.
