Chapter 29

-Lea-

"Anaaakkkk!!!"

I shouted on top of my lungs.

"Yas mum?"

Nicole answered.

"Come here real quick!!!"

I heard huge footsteps of Nicole and the door opened.

"Sweetie, call your Dad and tell him lalabas na ang baby."

Her eyes widened and started to freak out.

"O my god, o my god, o my god. Where is my phone? Uhm, wait mum, give me a minute."

She hurriedly went down and ran back to the room with her phone.

"Hello dad. Yes I'm fine, I just need you to get your ass at home cuz mum is about to give birth!"

She kept walking back and fourth and I'm starting to get real dizzy.

"Ate, hurry up. Lalabas na kapatid mo!"

I saw her mouthed the word "shit". I laughed. She's so like me. Good Lord.

"Mum, where is your car key?"

My eyes widened. I'm her mother so I know what she's trying to emply and it's a no.

My forehead creased.

"Mum! Hurry up. We both know that Dad can't make it and I haven't mentioned the freaking traffic. So where is the damn key?"

Yup, she really is my daughter.

I opened the small drawer on our bedside table and handed her the key.

She grabbed the key and helped me get up our bed.

Dahan-dahan kaming bumaba ng hagdan when suddenly she shouted.

Napaangat ako ng tingin sa kanya.

"What's wrong honey?"

Her eyes widened. She gulped.

"Yo--you're uhm. Mum, you're wet! Your water broke!"

"I know sweetie, that's why we should hurry."

She let me in the car. Pumsok na rin siya. My daughter's still 15 years old for Pete's sake!

"Ate? Can you really do this? Drive safely."

She held my hand and kissed my forehead.

"Mum, don't worry. Mas magaling pa ko magmaneho kesa kay Dad."

Well that was a good assurance. Nicole has no license pa, mabuti nalang at tinted ang sasakyan ko.

After fifteen minutes we were in the hospital.

She rushed me in and nurses came to assist.

"Nasan po asawa niyo para masahan ho kayo sa loob."

Fuck you Aga! Wag na wag ka ng magpapakita sakin!

"Wala--"

"I'm here!"

We turn around and saw Aga rushing to reach us.

"Dad!"

He looked at Nicole furiously.

"And you young lady, we have to talk later!"

Oh god. If this is all about Nicole driving me here then screw him! Mabuti nga at marunong ang anak ko mag maneho kaya nakaabot kami dito ngayon.

"Wait--what? About what?"

He just gave Nicole a I-said-later look

"LABABAS NAA!!"

And they rushed me in.

"One more push misis Muhlach! One hard push!"

I took a very deep breath. Kaya ko to. I held Aga's hand tightly.

"Okay, one, two, three, push!"

"AAAAAHHHHHH"

And all the hard work paid off when I heard my baby's cry.

"You did it hun. Thank you. I'm so proud of you" Aga said and kissed me.

I smiled. Thank you Lord.

"Do you want to see your baby po? Or you'll take a rest first? "

"Can I take a peep first before I rest?"

The nurse smiled.

"Sure po."

She carried my baby near me. He's so wonderful.

I kissed his cute and pinkish lips. Dapat nanay ang mauuna.

The nurse smiled once more

"Your baby is very good looking maam. Congratulations."

I smiled and mouthed my thanks.
Aga on the other hand faked a cough.

"Saan ba naman magmamana yan? Edi sa tatay niyang pogi! " He boastfully said and laughed. Gago talaga.

"Uhm, sir, we have to cut the umbilical cord. Would you want to do it?"

Aga gulped. So cute naman ng asawa ko.

"Uhm, yeah sure. "

I laughed. "You look uncertain my love"

And laughed even more. "Funny!"

Pikon!

"You are funny! Hahah"

He became grumpy. Jusko naman talaga.

"Nurse, akin na nga ang gunting!"

His hands were literally shaking but he managed to do it nicely and carefully.

"Good job babes."
I said and made a thumbs up. And we all laughed.

A knock was heard so we turned and saw Nicole on a verge of tears. Aww my love.

"Can I see him?"

A very tiny voice was heard from her. She might be restraining herself from crying.

"Of course sweetheart. Come on in."

She went in and covered her mouth when she saw her baby brother.

"She looks exactly like Dad! Holy --"

We looked at her with our forehead creased.

"Holy-- SWEETIE!"

Well, glad she managed that.

"What's his name?"

Nag ka titigan kami ni Aga. Oo nga pala.
