"Three can keep a secret, if two of them are dead." -Benjamin Franklin

My name is Chloe Maddison I'm 14, and I've been living with my adoptive parents ever since I was three. Now my parents weren't those people who kept it a secret that their child was adopt or any of that. Once I was able to talk and understand things, they told me, but I had already knew long before then. The whole reason why I was put up for adoption was because of my sisters, but we'll talk more about that later. Anyways I'm the youngest out of five, six including me, although they were my adopted sibling they treat me like I was their sister. Well except my brother who always tease me about being adopted, but the our eldest brother always beat him up for it. I mean having four older brothers and an older sister, is the best you can get.

Well, until a fire broke out a year ago during Thanksgiving, it just happen that my sister and I were out getting last minute ingredients for my mother when it happened. Everyone was inside, my four brothers, my aunts and uncles, and my parents. It was only me and my sister. I stayed with her for a good month until she decide to put me in foster care. She told me I was reopening wounds she was trying to heal. I couldn't hate her or anything, I understood what she had meant. The pain was just unbearable for her.

Anyways, back to why I was put up for adoption. When I was three, I was outside with my older twin sisters. They were at lease six or seven, and I remember us being really close. Even thought I was playing in the grass while the two were in the pool playing something happened. Although, I don't remember their names, but I saw one of my sisters try to drown my other sister. At first I thought she was playing, but she never let my sister up, that was when I started screaming for my parents. They came running out as my mother came and picked me up while my father was dealing with my sisters. After that, I really don't remember much, maybe a fight broke out or something. Anyways, my sister was gone the next day. Then I was gone the next week. I'm not mad that they gave me up, it was for the best.

Well as of right now I was on my way to my next foster home. This is was only my third one, which I'm pretty proud of. I did as I was told, gain the peoples respect and they gave it back in return. Their children or other foster kids never really like me and said some things, but I just kept my mouth shut and carried on with life.

We had finally arrived at the tiny house that barely looked like it could fit four people. After being on a plane for the past three hours this couldn't get any worst. I sighed as I climbed out of the car until I heard my child protective services agent phone gone off.

"Hello?" I heard her ask into the phone. "Yes, she's still with me we just got to the house." Her eyes flicked over to me. "Alright, I get her there before her plane leaves." Then she hung up the phone. "Get back in Chloe, looks like you've been adopted."

After being on a plane for another two hours, I had arrived at my new family. Thing was about this family I've never met them or anything. They just happened to adopt me, an fourteen year old girl, usually that never happens. I grabbed my bag out of the trunk and went back up to the front. My agent smirked at me, "Have fun." Then she drove off. You would think those people are nice, but they aren't. I sighed and walked up the walkway that went up to the front door. Now being in a new town that is called Rosewood is going to be hard. It's really small compare to all of the other towns I've been in. Once I was at the front door, I rang the doorbell as the door flew open. I put on my best fake smile and looked at the woman. My new mother.

She had light brown hair followed by light green eyes which remind me of my very own. There was a man that was right by her side which I assume was her husband. He had gray hair with a few strands of black hair, which remind me of my own fathers hair, that I missed deeply. I had also found out that the family that had abopted me their last name was DiLaurentis and the mother and father names were Jessica and Kenneth.
