A/N: hey guys, sorry that the last was short, I had just gotten over a cold so I did what I could. Anyway, here's the next chapter.

Merida's pov:

After classes were done me and five other students headed to detention, little did we know that our detention would be with Ms. Gothel in the auditorium. 'This is officially the worst day ever.' I said to myself. We each had our own punishment, courtesy of Ms. Gothel and her tall tales of her days in the theater. Hiccup and Jack were working on the fake trees, Astrid was helping others members with the costumes, Flynn was painting the backdrop for the school musical, Rapunzel was checking the props, and I was in charge of painting the waves and moon. While I was painting the moon cut out, Elsa came running to me with excitement on her face.

Elsa: "The answer is yes!"

Merida: "Huh? What are you talking about?"

Elsa: "Our scholastic Dance Fight Team has its first competition next week, and there is certainly a spot for you.

Merida: (Looks at the slips in Rapunzel's hand) "Where did those come from?"

Elsa: "Did you put them in my locker?"

Merida: "Of course not."

Elsa: "Oh. Well, we'd love to have you on our team. We meet almost every day, after school. Please?"

Merida: "I don't know. I need to catch up on the curriculum here before I think about joining any clubs."

Astrid: (Barging in on the conversion) "What a perfect way to get caught up! Meeting with the bravest and powerful kids in school. What a generous offer, Rapunzel."

I had no idea what Astrid was planing or why she was acting so nice all of a sudden or how Elsa got those papers in her locker. Just then, Ms. Gothel came up to the the three of us, telling us to get back to work. Of course, once we did she started to ramble and ramble on about how all of us could be apart of the drama club.

(Meanwhile......)

Narrator speaking:

Out on the race track, the dragon riders team was practicing for the big game when Stoick  called them for a team meeting. He was about to give a speech to the team when he noticed that Jack and Hiccup weren't there. "Where's Hiccup and Jack? he asked, nobody answered him. "Don't make me ask again." he threaded. If it's one  thing the team always knows is that you never, ever mess with a Haddock without paying the price an they were in for it now. "WHERE"S HICCUP AND JACK?!" he bellowed out. The entire team told Stoick they were in detention by Ms. Gothel. Stoick was boiled with rage, he shoved two boys out of the way and walked off, looking  angry.

Back in detention, Ms Gothel was rambling on about her days in the theater so much that Jack fell asleep of boredom. (A/N: That's how I feel when this boy kept rambling to me about how great he is.) Hiccup was lost in his own thoughts, thinking how his dad would react if he found out that he was in detention. Suddenly Stoick burst into the auditorium like a raging hurricane, shouting at Gothel.

Stoick: "Where's my team, Gothel? What the heck are those two doing in a tree?"

Gothel: "It's called crime and punishment, Haddock. Beside, proximity to the arts is cleansing for the soul."

Stoick: "Can we have a talk? Please? (Looks over to Hiccup and Jack) And you two, on the track, now!"

Hiccup climbs down, grabs Jack who was hiding from Stoick and headed for the track. Once they were gone, Stoick and Gothel state their cases to Principle North and in the end he took Stoick's side while Gothel stormed out of the office. Stoick gave his speech to the riders about how they need to work as a team, be the team from within and working hard to claim the champion back from the West High Knights. Jack got the team rallied up after the speech and now it was time from the Heros to get their heads in the game.
