Merida's pov:

My next class was close compact, sure I'm great with a bow and arrow but fighting with a sword now that was a challenge I'm willing to take. I sat in the front row, taking notes on the different types of fighting skills when Astrid came up to me, smirking.

Astrid: "So! Seemed like you knew Hiccup Haddock."

Merida: "Not really. He was just showing me around."

Astrid: "Oh. well, Hiccup doesn't usually interact with new students."

Merida: "Why not?"

Astrid: "Oh, it's pretty much Dragon Racing 24/7 with him."

I looked over to see two fighters doing a demonstration on how defend against a close combat and I saw that they had made a mistake. "Shouldn't you make sure that you don't leave any openings for your opponent to attack?" I asked. One of them looked at me and tried my advice "Thanks for the help. And Welcome aboard." he said. I looked over to Elsa, she smiled at me and high five me but Astrid turned around in her seat with a scowl on her face. 'This is going to be a long day' I thought.

Flynn's pov: (I thought it might be nice to give Flynn a chance to speak his mind.)

I had just left my thieving class when I spotted Hiccup coming from the gym, he stopped to look at the sign-up sheet for the musical. Once he finished looking, he left for his next class, I saw my chance to let my sister, Astrid know about this. No one and I mean, no one steals our spotlight in the show. I saw my sister, walked up to her, drag her to the sign-up sheet and dished out about Hiccup.

Flynn: "Hiccup Haddock was looking at our audition list."

Astrid: "Again? You know, he was hanging around with that new girl. They were both looking at the list. There's something freaky about her. Where did she say she was from?"

Flynn: 😐

Astrid: (Groans and walks away)

Flynn: (Follows Astrid)

Astrid's pov:

I was determent to make sure that the new girl stays out of my sight and to make sure that Hiccup stays away from her. Flynn and I headed for the computer lab to do a little research on Merida and all of her little secrets. Once I searched up "Merida Dunbroch" the first thing that came up was an article that said "Archery Girl Leads School to Scholastic Champion", I clicked on the website and it revealed Merida winning her school's dance fighting team.

Flynn: "Wow, she's an archer and a super princess. So why do you think she's interested in our musical?"

Astrid: "I'm not sure that she is. And we needn't concern ourselves with amateurs. But there is no harm in making certain that Merida is welcomed to school activities that are, well, appropriate for her. After all, she loves fighting."

I quickly printed a copy of Merida's file out, grabbed it and sneaked it into Elsa's locker. I hope Merida enjoys being with her own type of people.
