I stared at the Tv blankly while all of them are having fun outside. What if I pretend? Pretend that I'm okay? Yes that's right, smile and pretend like nothing horrible happend. Like it all started again. What's so bad about smiling at your problem? As if there's something's wrong with that. Cause all of us have a right to do what we want.
" Cherish, you okay?" Zack asked worriedly as he went inside.
" oh hey Zack!" I greeted in a cheery tone, smiling sweetly at him " I'm good. I'm actually watching Tom and Jerry"
" oh that... that's great" he smiled back " I just wanna know how you're doing"
" I'm perfectly fine"
" okay, I'm going back outside and uh... are you sure you're okay?"
" yap"
" alright, see you then" he continued outside. I stared back at the TV woth my faded smile. This is harder than I thought. Every smile is my biggest pretend. To be honest, it hurts smile when you dont meant it. Like you're fooling yourself too. But this is just the begginig right? I'm just starting.
" when it's rising, when it sets. But all I can think about is sex! I'm-" Alex sang as he went inside and was cutted of when he caught me staring at him. " what?"
" hey" I smiled at him, using my sweet and seductive voice " I know that I'm still a complete stranger to you but could you please shut up? I'm watching here, so please?"
Alex stared at me and took a deep breathe " okay"
" thanks" I smiled at him and glancced back at the TV, waiting for him to leave. Too bitter today? I guess I am and I dont care. Its the only way to get over my deppression.
ALEX'S POV
I stared at her and took a deep breath. Surprised at her mood today, wasnt she in a gloomy mood yesterday? I was weirded out. " okay"
" thanks" she smiled at me and continued to watch the TV. I slowly went back outside and looked down. I guess its not working out. But what if I tried a little harder, so I can slowly made her feel down and then she'll come running to me. I look up the sky, almost sunset.
Zack glanced at me and smirked " how was it?"
" she's so happy today"
" told ya"
" and that means, I should try harder"
Jack hit me with a ball. I scowled at him " watch it Jack!"
" sorry man, its just that.. its getting dark out here"
I looked up again " okay lets go inside"
CHERISH'S POV
" man dude, the time that I accidentally hit you with a ball was awesome" Jack giggled as all of them entered the house. Alex just smiled and went to the kitchen with the rest of the gang. Jack sat on the couch beside me. " hi"
I turned my head to him with a smile, creeply " hey"
" why didnt you went outside?"
" why should I? I dont wanna feel left out since the center of attention there doesnt know me"
" I understand. Why are you so happy today?"
" probably cause I want to"
Kara heard what we are talking about and joined us on the couch. She suddenly stared at me " you want too? it seems like you're faking"
