Autumn was walking back to the dropship while rolling her eyes, "There's this cute little bush, but don't touch it has thorns. Stupid cute bush," she muttered.
"You were supposed to look for water," Wells reminded the girl while she was scowling at the finger that was lightly bleeding, "I knew I forgot something, sorry," Autumn said shrugging.
"Let's go,-" Wells said as he threw some sticks down, alerting Autumn they were going to head back to actually look for water.
"Find any water yet?" The boy whose name Autumn found out was Murphy spoke up next to another figure, "No, not yet, but, we're going back out,- if you want to come." Wells trailed off as he looked to the side of the dropship where Murphy and his buddy carved a message into the side of the dropship.
'First Son
First To Dye.'
Autumn squinted her eyes to see if she was seeing clearly, or if Murphy was actually dumb enough for something like this.
"You know, my father, he begged for mercy in the airlock chamber when your father floated him," Murphy said showing off his makeshift weapon while chuckling, "You spelled die wrong, geniuses," Wells said while walking past the duo, but not forgetting to bump shoulders with Murphy.
"You must be really stupid, " Autumn said laughing hysterically, "How dumb can you be? Honestly. Threaten to kill him, but you can't spell a three letter word correctly." Autumn said shaking head disapprovingly.
"I'd watch it if I were you," Mbege said lowly.
"It's d-i-e. Not d-y-e." Autumn rolls her eyes before walking up to catch up with Wells.
"If you're gonna kill someone, it's probably best not to announce it," Bellamy said as he walked up to the pair.
"You're not really a member of the guard, are you?" Murphy asked knowingly.
"No. The real guards will be here soon unless we stop it. You don't actually think they're gonna forgive your crimes," Bellamy announced chuckling, "Even if they do, then what? Guys like us, we're gonna become model citizens now, get jobs, if we're lucky, maybe pick up their trash?"
Mbege spoke up, "You got a point?"
"No, I got a question. They locked you up, dumped you down here like lab rats to die. So why are you helping them?" Bellamy asks knowing he's getting to them.
"The hell we are." Mbege scoffed, with venom seeping from his mouth.
"You're wearing those bracelets, aren't you? Right now, those things are telling them whether or not it's safe to follow us down." Bellamy announces getting deeper into their heads, "Okay. You said we could stop it. How?" Murphy asks, giving his full attention to the older Blake.
"Take them off. The Ark will think you're dead, that it's not safe to follow. You follow?" Bellamy says with a tone in his voice as if things were just getting started.
"Right, and if we do, I mean, what's in it for us?" Murphy asks.
"Someone has got to help me run things," Bellamy says smirking, both Murphy and Mbege joining him.
