Chapter 11 - Back home

I wake up and to someone shaking me softly, my eyes flutter open and I see Ryder making me shoot up "What are you doing up Ry" I say worried and he chuckles "let's go home" he says and I frown "they said I was doing really good and I can leave with you" he says and I smile excited "we are going homeee, oh lord I miss my pool" I say and he chuckles before putting up his cast "I can't go in" he says and I frown "so we can put a plastic bag over that ?" I ask with a smirk

"Obviously" he says with a laugh, I look at the door and see my brother walking in "you two ready?" He asks and I smile, I'm current,y just wearing some sweatpants and a hoodie but we are going by car so I'm good "yeah I'm Gucci" I say with a smile making Ryder let out a slight laugh "Wait when are you taking that off?" I said looking at his arm "They said it isn't really a cast because it was only a sprain and not a broken bone, so next week?" He says ad i smile

"When you take that off we are going to throw a pool party" I say and he smiles at the idea "I mean summer is coming so, end of year pool party?" Ryder says and i smirk "I didn't even notice that next week was the last week" I say "We have been doing this for so long now" I say "2 months and 2 weeks to be exact" Ryder says and i nod, this whole faking has made m,e and Ryder amazing friends, is it tho? just friends?

"Let's go?" Rick says and i nod getting up from the bed before stretching up "feels goo to leave this place" I say while we walk out of the room, i look around the hospital happy that i finally get to leave this place, we get outside and i jump up and down and let out a short squeal before hugging Rick "My babyyy" I scream while running to my car and opening my arms before hugging her hood

"I am so sorry my princess, i have missed you so much" I say in a baby voice "i get to drive right? Wait a second you drove my baby here without permission?" I say squinting "Was it not a good surprise?" Rick asks and i shrug, i get in and grab the wheel "God baby you need a nice wash, what do you say huh?" I say smiling "Come on guys" I say and Ryder sits shotgun and Rick on the back seat, i pull out of the parking lot and start driving, a little fast

"I forgot how fast you go baby" I say happily as i can feel wind coming in through the windows refreshing the car and blowing my hair back "Slow down love before we get pulled over" Ryder says and i look at him "Rude" i say and slow down, just a little

"better?" i ask "i mean its a change " Rick says and i smile, i reach Ryder's house and smile "You want em to pick you up later?" I ask and he nods "Text me when you want me to come okay?" i say and he nods before pecking my lips "I will see you later" He says before giving my brother a spud, he leaves the car and Rick comes on shotgun "You missed this didn't you" Rick says and i nod

"I missed being out, i missed my baby" I say and tap her wheel, we head back home and i go straight to the garden after i park my car. I look at my pool and smiling before taking off my close, leaving me in my bra and underwear before diving right in not even caring about a thing, i swim up and just float with my eyes closed feeling the was sun against my skin "I'm making lunch any preference?" Rick ask and i just shake my head

floating there everything felt so simple however, i couldn't help but think about how much i wish Ryder was here with me, i had no idea why i thought about it but i did, it's like a part of me wanted him close

I get out of the pool and sit on one of the chairs just waiting for the sun to dry me up enjoying every second of it. I look around and realise that the second part of the talent show is next week.

I get changed into sweats and a sports bra before heading to the door " Rick I'm going to pick up Ryder" I say loudly and hear my voice echo through the house " okay be safe" Rick screams back from upstairs, I head over to my car and back out the garage... when I reach Ryder's house I beep twice so he knows I'm here, he walks out in a grey tracksuit and I just smile I can't lie he looks good as hell, he gets in the car and smiles at me before giving me a hug

We spend the car ride just singing along to random songs that my phone decides to play, we get out my car and head inside, from the door I can smell the beautiful smell of the salmon making my stomach sound like a dying whale "God that smells good" i say heading to the kitchen to see Rick set the table " well since you just got out of the hospital I thought it would be really nice if I made your favourite food and dessert" Rick says and I raise my eyebrow "you made pudding?" I ask excited and he just smiles

After dinner he all jump onto the couch and just put on random movies from Netflix, this feel good having both my brother and Ryder by my side
