Author's note:

Hey guys! I'm excited to jump back into the story, but a few notes first:

Happy belated birthday to Thomas! 30! That's awesome! Thanks for inspiring us always :)

Danny released his EP and it's amazing! GO LISTEN TO IT!

also... I saw Avengers Endgame, and so did most of the other ToxicMidnight writers. No spoilers here, but MAN, it was incredible! We'll probably have some fics coming out soon for the occasion ;).

Last but not least, thanks for bearing with us during hiatus! The past couple of weeks were pretty busy for all of us. The break gave me a good chance to concentrate on life, and also fix up some loose ends in the story.

So I won't stall any longer. Enjoy!

"BST is history, boys," Dark Drew laughed maniacally as he entered the kitchen.

"That's great!" said Dark Thomas.

"Yeah, I'm glad to see them go," Dark Danny agreed, even if he was a little bitter that he wasn't involved in their destruction.

"It was pretty epic," Drew reveled. "We're finally rid of those horrendous ice cream songs. What did you guys do while I was gone?"

"We knocked over that whole cage of bouncy balls in the toy section," said Thomas.

"Yeah!" Dark Danny chimed in. "I tripped over them fifteen times! It was awesome!"

Even as their dark counterparts, Danny and Thomas were doing great at hiding the fact that they tried to escape.

"Well, I'm glad your spirits are back up," Dark Drew said. "I see you're making missghetti for lunch."

"Don't you mean 'spaghetti'?" Dark Danny asked.

"No, fool. It's called missghetti 'cause I haven't had it in a long time, and I miss it."

"Ohhhh," Dark Danny nodded, pretending he understood, even though he was only more confused.

"I'm jet lagged. We'll eat lunch, then use the rest of today to rest up. In the morning, we'll head out to annihilate some more channels."

"Where are we headed next?" Dark Thomas asked eagerly.

"The UK," Dark Drew replied. "I'm thinking we'll start with Dan and Phil, and move on to some of the gamers."

"Sounds good to me!" said Dark Danny. But there was a part of him that was still good, a part of him that still cared. And that part of him ached. He couldn't bear the thought of killing anyone else. "Hey, Drew? Do you think... maybe we can delete the channels without killing the YouTubers?"

Dark Drew sighed. "It's one thing when we're taking down a company. Those channels take years worth of work and cooperation to build up. But the big independent creators? If I leave them alive, they could just start their channels back up. And if I'm gonna be the first and only channel on Youtube, you can see why that would be a problem."

"Oh... Right," Danny said in defeat.

"But," added Drew, "...I'll tell you what. We'll play it by ear."

This gave Danny and Thomas hope. Maybe Dark Drew still had an ounce of good shining through in him, after all.
