Author's note:

Sorry for the super-late chapter today. I got new inspiration and had to tweak a whole bunch of stuff.

We're getting really close to the ending now, I'd say there will be 2 or 3 more chapters after this. It's been such a fun story to write, and I hope you've all loved following along. I appreciate every one of you who's taken time out of your day to read :).

Also, I know it's a Danny Gonzalez fic, so sorry the last few chapters have been kinda Sanders-centric so far XD. I still love Danny and I promise he'll get his shining moments! (Drew too!)

Thanks for reading! See you next week!!

-----------------------------------------

The three dark viners-turned-Youtubers sat in silence in the stolen car.

Drew was at the wheel, Thomas was sprawled out in the back, and Danny was sitting shotgun.

It was pushing 4:00 AM, and the roads were empty. Soft snores echoed in the backseat, where Thomas had drifted off to sleep. Danny wistfully stared out his window, deep in thought, his forehead pressed against the glass.

Drew turned his head to Danny.

"You've been awfully quiet. Everything okay?"

"Uh... Yeah," he replied, settling back in his seat. "I'm just a little tired, I guess."

"Well, we've got a long trip ahead of us. 40 more minutes to the airport, then at least 10 hours on the plane. Plenty of time to catch up on sleep."

"I can't really sleep while in motion," Danny frowned.

"Yeah? Me neither," Drew shrugged. "But don't worry. Sacrificing a few days of sleep will end up being worth it."

"So, what comes next? Taking down Troom Troom, maybe?" Danny suggested.

"Ugh, yes that would be nice. But after destroying Billion Surprise Toys, I'm afraid I don't have the energy to handle any more corporations."

"Markiplier? James Charles?"

Drew chuckled. "No. Actually, I don't think our next step involves deleting any more channels at all. Once I make my channel, I think it will scare everyone else off."

"Really?"

"Yes. And if it doesn't, we ask nicely."

"And if that doesn't work?" Danny gulped.

"Well, then, we'll just have to hunt them down. But I don't think it will be too much of a problem. I think it's time we start setting up my recording studio."

"What kind of content will you make?" Danny asked, opting to make conversation rather than sit in awkward silence.

"Everything. It will be the only YouTube channel, after all, I've got to branch out. Music videos, crafting DIYs, gaming, commentary. I might even start a podcast."

"Sounds like you've got everything planned out."

"You don't sound very excited," Drew noted, confused. "...Oh. I get it. You're wondering what's gonna happen with you."

"Well... yeah," Danny answered nervously.

"Danny," Drew said. "Don't worry. Of course I'm gonna keep you around. I couldn't have made it to the top without your help."

"And what about... What about Laura?" he asked.

Drew sighed a somewhat aggravated sigh. "I thought you were finally submerged in the darkness, Danny. It seems you're still sentimental."
