he's back

Chapter 8 ( he's back)

Claire's POV

"SAAAAAAM GIVE IT BACK" I yelled as I chased that idiot around the house. "na uh I won't " was his annoying response. " Fine then I'll take it myself" I said running towards him but he stopped me by putting his hand on my forehead pushing me a bit to the back. " Claire you're so pathetic" he said with a chuckle. " Why did Chris leave me with you" I mumbled under my breath. " Because you can't stay home alone for a second ". I rolled my eyes and tried to take my phone back from him. He dodged that move then ran away. "SAAAAAAM" I yelled as I ran after him.

He stood at the top of the staircase holding my phone up. Motioning me to catch it. " Sam DON'T" I yelled, but it was too late he threw the phone all over the stairs. I couldn't catch it and the phone fell down. When I picked it up it had a cracked screen. " You're so dead" I said as I ran towards him.

"How DARE you THROW my PHONE" I said between punches. But my brother being my brother he bursted out laughing. "Stop it C" he said as he pushed me away. "Ugh I'm so over this I'm telling Chris when he's back" I said to him as I walked to my bedroom and slammed the door shut. Why did Sadie  leave,They didn't dare to even annoy me when she's around but now they're being such jerks.

I sat on my bed and started reading a book it's called ' The Fault In Our Stars'. I was reading it peacefully till my door slammed open. God won't they ever stop.

"CLAIRE" Sam yelled as I felt my ear drums suffering. "What do you want?" I asked not bothered to look at him. "Chris got arrested " he said as he came closer to me. " What the... How did that happen" I said throwing my book away with tears filling my eyes. "I don't know. I just had a phone call from the police station" he said looking me in the eye.

At this moment I broke I started to cry. " But w-what d-did he d-do" I said between tears. Sam came closer to me and sat next to me on the bed. He hugged me then whispered in my ear " Sike!!". At first I was confused till I realized he just pranked me. " Gush Claire you should have seen your face" he said blowing his eyes out from laughing.

I almost kicked him but I was interrupted by the door bell. I knew it was Chris so I dashed towards the door. I opened it then held Chris into a bone crashing hug. " I love you so so so much Chrissy" I said while a couple of tears left my eyes. Just to clarify I wasn't crying.  " Uhhhh Claire what happened" Chris asked in a really confused way.

Behind us Sam was DYIIIIING from laughter. Soon as Chris saw him he understood Sam had something to do with this." What did you do" Chris asked. Sam shrugged "ask her". Chris looked at me then asked me what happened. " Well Sam told me you got umm.... Arrested" Chris looked up at Sam " really.. arrested . Can't you come up with something better  Samsung" after I heard that nickname he gave Sam. I fell to the ground laughing. " Hahaha very funny" Sam mumbled.

" Actually it is very funny" I said to Sam sticking out my tongue. "CLAAAAAAAAAAAAIRE" Sam yelled. I laughed as I ran to my bedroom. I bet he is boiling down there. I sat on my bed, grabbed my laptop then started watching some Netflix. I decided to watch ' Titanic '. My favorite part was about to come but as usual my door was slammed open. " Hey C " Chris said while sitting next to me. " Hi" I said looking towards him. " I have a surprise for you and Sam" he said while smiling. I bounced out of my place " what is it !?" I asked curiously. " Well let's call Sam first" he said as he stood up to bring Sam. hmm I wonder what is the surprise or is it even a good one.

A while later Chris entered the room Carrying Sam on his back. I bursted out laughing. Sam started hitting Chris's back till he let him go. "So what is the surprise?" I asked again. "Do you know Alex" Chris asked. "Of course we do" I said in a ' duh ' tone. Alex used to be Chris's best friend when he was 13 I was 7 by then. We used to play together and have a lot of fun till Alex moved out to Texas. We were so sad. We never met him since then.

" What about him?" Sam asked getting more interested in the conversation. "He's back" Chris said with a huge smile on his face. " OMG YAAAAAAAAY" I started yelling and jumping on the bed. " Claire chill" Sam said as he pushed me down again. " When did he come back?" I asked. "2 weeks ago" Chris answered. " When are we going to meet him " Sam asked. " Tommorow he'll come to eat lunch with us" Chris answered. Yay! I can't believe that Alex is finally back to town I really missed him.

For now you two go to bed you have school tomorrow" Chris said. " Ok" Sam and me said together. Chris laughed as he left the room. Sam also left. So now I'm room alone. I layed on the bed till I fell asleep.

◼ After School ◼

Im now getting ready to meet Alex. I can't wait to meet him. I got out of the shower and walked to my closet. I didn't want to pick up something that is really skin showing. I'm still cautiount since what happened with that guy. I went for a  black shirt with a denim jacket. And black pants (outfit above) . I had my hair free from any kind of accessories and my face was free from any makeup .

When I was done I went downstairs to find Sam and Chris were already ready. I went to them. " Hey guys " I said. " Hi" they both said. " So when is Alex coming?" I asked them. " He'll be here any sec-" Chris was interrupted by the door bell. I laughed a little then Chris went to open the door. Chris came back in with.. wait What the hell. what is he doing here?!
