Chapter 10 ( what happened between you and Alex)

" This is going to be fun" Alexander said looking me in the eye.

He looked at me then smirked. I was already freaking out and crying.im an idiot! I should've told Chris from the beginning who Alex really is. But I can't he'll hate me for it he may kick me out or get disgusted from me. Tears started to stream out of my eyes.

I looked up to see Alex glaring at me. The girls were so scared to even move from their place. I was crying so hard. Gracie came running to me. I was in so much pain. I looked at them then shaked  my head. I'm not going to sit down like this and give Alexander the ability to do whatever he wants to me.

I raised my hand in the air and as strong as I can I slapped him.

" YOU BITCH HOW DARE YOU" Alex yelled as he pulled me from my hair. I started to scream as Crystal and Gracie watched in horror. He pulled me by my hair up that I was facing him. He punched me in the eye and started beating me up I kept screaming in pain. The girls got up and tried to hit Alex but he pushed both of them away and punched them.

He started to kick me repeatedly in my stomach that I coughed blood. After what sounded like years of beating Alex decided to leave. " Ok I think that's enough to teach you not to mess with me anymore. I'm going to go see you later ladies" he said as he glared at Crystal and Gracie then left.

Crystal and Gracie ran towards me then helped me up. "Claire are you ok. I'm so sorry it's all my fault-" Crystal started but I interrupted her. " Don't worry I'm fine Crystal". I was in a total pain I couldn't even stand steady I was wobbling while trying to walk and my eye and stomach hurted like hell.

They both hugged me. " I'm sorry" Crystal cried in my ears before letting go of me. I forced a smile on my face them shaked my head. " I'm the one who should be sorry. None of this would have happened if I told Chris-" I got interrupted by Crystal hugging
me tightly as soon as she let go of me, the door bell rang.

I freezed in my place. Im pretty sure that I had plenty of bruises and a black eye. I looked at Crystal and Gracie with shock. I guess they already figured out what I was about to say because Gracie ran to open the door as Crystal took my hand and pulled me to the bathroom.

I looked at the mirror with shock I had an insanely bad black eye and when I raised my shirt and looked at my body it was full of painful bruises Crystal and I gasped at the same time. I looked at her and before i can say anything she spoke.

"I may be able to hide your bruises but there is no way I can hide that black eye" she said in way that shows sympathy. " What am I going to do there is no way I'm letting Sam and Chris see this " I said looking back at the mirror.

"I'll go tell Gracie to tell them that your not home" Crystal said. " That won't work she'd probably told them any excuse by now. Plus most likely Toby will be down there and I'm hundred percent sure you don't want him to see your legs" as soon as I finished speaking she immediately dropped her head to look at her legs she gasped when she saw them.

Her legs were all covered with bloody bruises from when Alex had hit her. She sighed before starting to panic. "What now?!" She said looking everywhere around us 

Crystal stopped freaking out and went to bring the foundation. She added some on the bruises that I have on my arms so that she can hide what's not hidden. Then she picked a sunglasses. "Wear this " she said as she handed it to me . " Umm why?" I asked confused. " It's going to cover your eyes. And don't worry about them just tell them I dared you to wear it". She said taking the sunglasses from my hand and putting it on for me.

I nodded then took my foundation from her and started to cover her legs with it. I think I didn't do a really bad job her bruises we're almost invisible.

She stood up then thanked me before we two walked down stairs. Well let's say She was walking but I was limping.

As soon as we reached the down stairs I saw Toby and Sam playing PlayStation and Chris was setting the table. Gracie sat down on the couch but had an eye on all of them. Crystal got nervous when she saw Toby then she pulled her dress a bit down.

" Hey girls " I heard Sam cheer not even looking away from the screen. "Hi" I said but it was a bit husky.

We looked at Gracie who was now smiling at us. " Umm no offense but why are you wearing a sunglasses?" Toby asked pointing at my sunglasses. That caught the other boys attention and now they were all looking at me with furrowed eyebrows.

"I dared her to wear it for 24 hours" Crystal said saving my guts. "You girls are weird you know" Chris commented. I forced a smile then started walki-wobbling to the couch then finally sat down. " So anyway were is Alex" Sam asked. "He called me saying that he needed to go early today" Chris answered.

Toby kept looking at us ( me, Crystal and Gracie) with furrowed eyebrows. I got nervous for fact my brothers may be dump sometimes and we can fool them but not Toby he's so smart to get fooled by our silly excuses.

"Food is ready" Chris announced before all of us walked to the dining table. And again I was limping instead of walking. Don't blame me I just got beaten up so badly. My whole body was hurting like hell but I tried as much as I possible not to cry.

Chris got us some pizza Wich was perfect for my situation it didn't cause me a lot of moving Wich mean it caused me less pain than any other food would have.

When we finished Gracie, Crystal, and I decided to go hide in my room for the rest of the night. We entered the room then sat in my balcony. " That was so close" Gracie said sighing a deep sigh. " Umm why for me it went pretty good " Crystal said. " Yeah but before you guys came Sam insisted that he wants to come and check on you" Gracie said.

Crystal's and my jaws dropped. OMG I don't want to imagine what would have happened if Sam saw me in that bruises. " Ok that's insane but at least the rest went good" Crystal said. " No it didn't" I said competing  what she said. " Why " Gracie asked looking at me. " It's Toby I'm pretty sure it didn't work on him. He kept looking at us all the time with serious and confused looks". I said resting my head at the back of the chair.

Gracie was about to say something when the room door opened. We all didn't make a voice. None of us wanted to risk getting caught. Then Toby walked in to the balcony. " You know I should use my lock more often" I said sarcastically. Don't judge me I'm sarcastic in any situation even if I was faced by a murder and he's about to kill me I'll still uses my sarcasm as a weapon.

He rolled his eyes then spoke. " So are you telling me what happened between you and Alex" he said glaring at each one of us. We all froze in place. I knew that Toby suspected something but I didn't know he'll know it had something to do with Alex. What should I do if we stayed silent like that well probably approve his words.

" W-what do you mean" I said trying to act normal. " Don't act dump" he said rolling his eyes again. " I mean how did Crystal get those bruises on her leg and how did you get that black eye and bruises" he said glaring at us again. How the hell did he find out.
