Toby's POV

I started looking everywhere for Claire but unfortunately got failed. I tried calling her a couple of times but her phone was out of signal. I found Austin looking at the room that was next to me. I quickly rushed to him.

"Austin!" I called out, catching his attention. "Did you find her?" I asked, feeling the panic rising through my veins. "No, she's nowhere to be found." he said, scanning the surroundings around us. "Oh my." Austin's eyes widened in shock; seems to be like some realization has hit him. I found myself glancing at him curiously. "I KNOW WHERE TO FIND HER! FOLLOW ME!" he commanded. 

I ran after him as fast as I could. As we approached one of the rooms, I heard a loud scream coming from inside the room and it didn't take me a minute to recognize the voice. It was Claire. We both rushed towards a room from where the voice was coming. 

Austin tried to open the door but he was unable to open it at once. Anticipation instantly filled through me. My heart pace picked up and I banged loudly on the door. 

With Austin being a cop he is, he used his forceful kick for opening the door causing it to fly open. 

And what I saw got me frozen in place.

Alex was hitting her,  giving the poor girl no chance to get away from his right grip. 

Austin quickly ran in pushing Alex off Claire, they started beating and hitting each other strongly while I ran towards Claire who was shivering on top of the floor. "T-toby..." She tried to speak but I hushed her. 

She seemed to be pretty tired and I have no clue what could make her like this."it's s-so cold"  She said, shivering under my hands.

I quickly took my hoodie off me and threw it over her. I held her and started to walk out of the room, trying to search for Chris. 

When I found him he was panicking, and seemed to be searching for Claire. I quickly walked to him and as he saw me holding Claire, he pulled her from me and held her bridal style. 

My heart couldn't take this and the scene was still fresh in my mind. She kept shivering in his hands. "She was with him didn't she...?" He asked before breathing out in a heart broken tone. 

I nodded slowly. "I swear I'm not leaving that son of a bitch alone." he snapped out of nowhere."Yeah I know he'll be dead before the sunrise, can you just concentrate on Claire right now she is really cold and dizzy I don't know what's wrong with her.. "

Chris looked at her with tears almost falling from his eyes. She looked so fragile and helpless.

"Hey C, are you ok?" He asked, running his thumb on her cheeks. Staring at her brother, she numbly nodded. 

It was obvious that she's lying!

"I-im fine, don't worry a-about me" Claire started giving him a fake smile "I'm just dizzy a little bit." she said burying her head into Chris's chest. 

She clutched her hands into his hoodie."What's wrong?" Chris asked her with worry evident in his eyes.

She seemed to struggle with breathing and she started to breathe heavily. "Oh my God Claire look at me! What's happening?" Chris said, sitting her on the floor.
