"I can't believe how Rosé and Lisa had won the argument with the elders." Namjoon said with wide eyes as he stares on the road, his hands grasping the wheel tightly, before taking a glance at Jennie who sat beside him - it has been three days since Rosé came home and the huge nerve wrecking talk with the elders had occurred.
"Well my sisters have never lost an argument before as they always end up making a good and strong point in the end that could win you over with just a snap of a finger." Jennie replied as she softly giggled at Namjoon who in return just chuckled at her.
"They must have argued good because in the end they both got what they wanted." Namjoon said as he looked at the different signboards of the stores until he took notice of the one he has been looking for. Jennie just shrugged her shoulders as she gazes out of the window of the car.
It was a cloudy day and Namjoon had shyly asked Jennie to accompany him as he goes to pick some children's books and other educational books they would be donating to the orphanage that Lisa and Rosé came from as part of the charity event they intend to host as what the two had requested.
The entire Kim household were going to host a charity event that intends to make the children at the orphanage happy even just for a day. Namjoon and Jennie were going to donate some books. Jisoo, Jin and Taehyung were going to donate new clothes and shoes. Lisa and Jimin were going to donate toys for the kids. And Jungkook and Rosé were going to donate some musical instruments as many children seemed to take a lot of interest in music. Mr. Kim was also going to fund the orphanage for the children's education so every children could go to school and finish a degree. Truly it would be a fun filled day, and everyone looks forward to it.
"Okay, we're here." Namjoon said with a smile as he parked the car in front of the bookstore they've been looking for. He unbuckled his seatbelt and then went to go out of the car to open the car door for Jennie who stepped out with a grin on her face. "You ready to shop with me?"
"I was born ready." Jennie said as she winked at Namjoon who only blushed a bit as he rubbed his nape and had motioned Jennie to enter the shop with him. "Joonie, I'll go pick out the children's book and you go pick those books you seemed fit for their education."
"I'll be on my way then my lady - " Namjoon said as he saluted at her and scurried to the farthest shelf to select some books.
Jennie just chuckled at his cuteness and had went to a particular shelf under the sign that said "fairytale".
She smiled as she checked the books' title and flips a few pages and judges if whether she should pick the book or not.
Once she was through selecting fairytale books, she then went to pick some fictional books before she went to check some poetic books. A store attendant had helped her with placing the different books at the counter when she picked them out of the shelf, all set for payment.
As she was selecting a few art books the children could color in and answer, Namjoon showed up by her side with a smile on his face as he admired how adorable Jennie looked like when she is serious.
"Are those books that have an page filled with cute stickers?" Namjoon asked as he peered at the book Jennie was holding.
Jennie just grinned at him widely, making her eyes turn into crescent moons, as she nodded cheerfully before closing the book and giving it to the store attendant.
"Get me ten more pieces of books like this please." Jennie said to the attendant who just bowed down before doing what she had said.
"You good to go?" Namjoon had asked her with a soft smile. Jennie just gave him a thumbs up as the both of them reached the counter. Jennie handed her card to the cashier but Namjoon had stopped her. "I got it."
