Eragon stood on the deck as the morning sun peaked over the horizon. Even thought the sea was no place for Eragon he had to admit. The way the sun sparkled off the water in the morning as it made its ascent into the sky. Was as beautiful a picture as he had ever seen.

Feeling the loving touch of Saphira's mind on his own. He let down his guards to let her in. "Little one look closely on the horizon what do you see".

Using his hand to block the sun from his eyes, a smile crept across his face. It was land and not just an island like all the other but a big body of land.

"Land, I see land Saphira. Land for as far as the eye can see".

Something deep inside Eragon told him this was the place. This was what he was searching for. Eragon let out a sigh of relief, for a weight felt like it had been lift off his shoulders.

Shouting out across the rest of the ship he let all the elves know. "Land!! We have found land"! While everyone hurried to make their way towards the front of the ship. Eragon couldn't help but think back, to the journey they had made.

Two long month had passed since he, Cuaroc, and the thirty elves and had left Hedarth. They had sailed east down the Edda river for three weeks, before they came to the far eastern edge of Alagaesia were the Edda dumped in to the ocean.

From there they continued east on the ship Talita into the vast unknown of the ocean, hoping they would find what they were searching for.

They had been at sea for five weeks and had only to come across a dozen or so island. Only a hand full of which could substain life, they had fresh water, plants, and animals for food. But no where near enough to last a large group of dragons and people hundreds of year.

As the Talita floated to the shore, Eragon, and the elves stood on the deck taking in the beauty of this new world. Golden brown sandy beaches stretched for as far as the eye could see to the north and south.

Half a mile inland the beaches turn to dark green grassy fields stretching for miles, till they met the edge of the massive trees and forest going on for what seems like forever.

Saphira flew over the group taking it all in when something caught her eye just past the forest. "Eragon do you see it".

"I do Saphira it's beautiful I think we may have found what we are looking for".

"I know little one, but look past the forest on the horizon do you see it".

"Mountains!!! Saphira Mountains!!!"

Just past the forest stood a massive mountain range running north and south with no end in sight. As Eragon stood there in awe of this New World they had discovered, Blodhgarm walked up next to him. "Argetlam is this the place is the the new home of the shur'tugal".

"There's a good chance Blodhgarm, have the men drop anchor once we reach the shore. We will make camp tonight on the shore and tomorrow I'll lead a scouting party out to explore this new world".

The morning sun was just peaking over the horizon as Eragon finished packing Saphira's saddle bags with all the supplies, he and the five elves would need for the scouting trip.

Eragon had decided last night he would leave Blodhgram and the rest of the elves at the shore to guard the ship, eggs, and the all Eldunari, except for Glaedr who would be accompanying the scouting party.

Sitting in the saddle a top Saphira, Eragon looked over the camp and the elves he was leaving to guard it. Not knowing what kind of dangers this new world would bring he left his orders.

"Blodhgarm I leave you in charge, if you have not heard from us in a weeks time use the Eldunari to reach out and contact us. If you cannot located us wait one more week and if we do not answer set sail west for Alagaesia then to Du Weldenvarden and Queen Arya".

"If we live, we find you there some day". Blodhgram nodded his head in agreement to the orders he had just received.

Then with a mighty flap of her wings Saphira took to the air heading east towards the mountain range, and into this great new unknown.

Sitting in the saddle Eragon reached down and petted her neck. "No matter what new adventures or dangers we find in this New World, there is no one i would rather have by my side then you".
