Three quarters of the day had passed since they had left the shore camp, when Eragon had spotted what he had been looking for a pass a mountain pass. The elves were in the forest not far behind him, they had yet to see any type of human life forms on there scouting trip.

There was lot of wild life to be seen, deer, elk, bear, boar, and some cow looking animal with shaggy brown hair and horns, just to name a few. As Saphira landed in the pass Eragon sent a mental picture to the elves where he was.

An hour or so had passed since they land before the elves made there way into the mountain pass clearing where Eragon waited for them. As they came to a stop next to him Eragon said "we will make camp here tonight and scout the pass and beyond tomorrow". He left them to make camp and prepare a meal, as Saphira and him took to the air once more to see what awaited them in the morning.

They climbed higher and higher threw the air, Eragon used Saphira's dragon sight to see farther in to the unknown. "Little one look close is that another mountain range to the far east". " I think it is and look to the south is the mountain range we are on curving to join up with with the new one". " I believe it is Eragon, could this be valley. The valley we have been searching for".

"It's hard to say without scouting it out, but it does look every promising. Let go ahead and go back to camp and inform the others what we found".

Breakfast had been ate and the elves were jus starting to pack up camp when Eragon approached them. "There is no need to pack up camp Saphira and I talk late into last night and we decided to keep the camp here. We will go into the valley alone and scout it out for we can travel much faster on our own. I will leave four of you here and have one of you return to Blodhgram and inform him of what is taking place. The rest of you will wait here ten days if we have not returned go back to Blodhgram and follow the same instruction I gave him yesterday".

Once in the air they headed south for that was closest boarder. The valley seemed vast and unending and even more magnificent then it did yesterday at dusk. The mountains that inclosed it were massive there smallest peak were still taller then the Spines tallest, but yet even there tallest could not compare to Boer mountain range.

They now could see the beauty of this place all around them, there were streams and creeks running out of the mountains, forest scattered all across the valley floor with a grassy plain running threw the center for as far as they could see. There was wild life all around deer, elk, mountain goat and sheep, boar, and them weird cow looking animals. Moutan lions, bear, and packs of wolves could even be seen out hunting there prey.

They flew throughout the day taking in all the beauty of this new place. It was staring to get dark when they spotted a nice side cave high up on the mountain side. "Saphira that cave will work perfect to make camp into night lets land there and check it out".

"Sounds good little one I'm ready to make camp and go find me one of them cow like creatures, they sure look tasty". "Hahaha Saphira that is fine just help me check out the cave first make sure we are alone then you can go eat all you want".

Morning came and they set off on there journey again, they were now on the southern edge heading east again. "This place is huge I bet it'll take us at least three days to get to the eastern side, and there's still no sign of where the northern border is if there is one at all".

"I know little one, do you think we will find any kind of human life forms in this new world"?

" I don't know, I hope we don't this place would be perfect if we are all alone".

"It's big enough for what we want that for sure, and them cow like creatures sure are tasty. I sure would be disappointed if I had to quit eating them".
