"So this is Aiden and Tyler the twins, Taylor, Kaitlyn, Kyle, and Rae" my dad introduces me to his family and I shyly smile

"Daddy Who this. She scaring me" Rae hides in my dads shoulder and I frown that she's scared of me

"She's my daughter your sister"

"She don't live with us"

"Well she's your half sister"

"Wait so mommy not her mommy"

"Oh. Well I tired can I go to bed please"

"Sure. I'm going to put her to sleep you guys should talk and get to know each other" my dad smiles and walks away and upstairs with Rae

"So what's your name" Taylor asks

"Cara"

"That's really pretty"

"Thank you" I smile and their mom walks in the house

And this is the part I'm really not excited for

"Hey guys. Um who's this" she points to me and I get extra scared

"Hi I'm Cara"

"I've heard of you. You're Chris's daughter right"

"Oh I'm his fiancé Christy"

They nod and go upstairs. It's awkward until they come back down with their stuff.

They leave the house and the three others walk away to the living room

I stand in the middle of the kitchen awkwardly and my dad comes downstairs

"So did you talk to them"

"No Taylor asked me my name and that's it."
