Miss Ariana Grande has been getting a lot of heat from the media lately for multiple things. For one she just dropped her 5th studio album, 'Thank U, Next.' This album was highly anticipated and it definitely met the expectations of her friends and even myself.

I'm a huge fan of Ariana, and I have been since Victorious. I was super excited for the release of the album because her two singles from the album were really really good, 'thank u, next' and 'imagine.'

Ariana dropped '7 rings' a trap infused pop song and it was a hit once it dropped. I really enjoyed the change in sound and I liked that Ariana was dabbling in a different genre. Once the video dropped for '7 rings' it instantly gave me a 2chainz "girls who like trap" vibe. The pink trap house in the background of majority of the video really looked similar to the pink house used in 2chainz album cover from 2017.

Ariana was called out for using the same aesthetic as the popular rapper and she didn't really give a responses to the issue.

A few weeks after the third single was dropped, Ariana released a remix with 2chainz on it. At first I thought that this was a good move for both artists because it shows that Ariana realized that she needs to give credit where it's due. I also thought it was a smart move for 2chainz because he had his 5th studio album coming out soon (it's out now actually) and it would've brought a different crowd to his music.

2chainz released his album today and he just did a genius interview speaking about his 2nd collaboration with Ariana, "rule the world." In the interview he said "he didn't want to be seen as another 'petty' black artist wanting credit for his work. When he confronted Ariana about the similar pink house aesthetic she said "I thought people knew I took that from you."

I love Ariana but she was dead wrong for that response. How can you just assume that your fans would know that the pink trap house idea was actually 2chainz and not yours??? I also felt that 2chainz shouldn't have to feel as if he needed to collab with her to make sure he didn't get labelled as petty. Ariana's fans are very feisty and they come for necks, so I totally understand why he didn't want to risk getting destroyed by her fans.

I think Ariana has been doing a lot of questionable things lately and most of the things that she's doing could be avoided if she had just thinks before she tweets and thinks before she speaks to someone. Lately on twitter people have been calling her out on acting like the victim in many situations where she's blatantly the reason why people are mad at her. An example would be when she got the Japanese tattoo on her palm and it was the wrong word/phrase. When people felt as though she didn't have the right to get the tattoo or wear Japanese culture as a costume, she instantly went into defense mode and they felt as though she was acting like a white woman.

I think Ariana could fix her mistakes and calm everyone down, but it seems that she's choosing not to. I think sooner or later this will come back to bite her and she will regret making ignorant comments without thinking.

What do you guys think about Ariana?
