I hear muffled voices come into scene,

"Is she going to be okay?" I hear a high pitched voice say next to me.

"She'll be fine, she just needs rest. She lost a severe amount of blood during the incident, and it was lucky she got to the hospital when she did." I hear a deep male voice reply. "She will be very weak, and can't do some things until she regains her energy again."

It's until now that I feel a hand holding mine, squeezing it. I gently squeeze back.

"She's awake!" She shouts. My eyes slowly flutter open, and I squint at the two figures in front of me. "Alexis..."

"Leah." I say. She has tear stained cheeks, a read face. Leah leans down and hugs me tightly. I make an attempt to hug back.

"Leah, please may you go to the waiting room for a minute." Says the doctor. Leah leaves.

I look down at all the tubes in my arms and attached to my body. My arms are wrapped in a big white bandage. A hospital gown covers me, while a white cotton blanket covers my lower torso.

"Why am I here?" I say looking at him. He sighs deeply.

"You tried to kill yourself this morning."

"I did?"

"Yes. You may experience short term memory loss, as you lost a lot of blood. We are going to need to keep you in for a few days to keep an eye on you. Okay?"

"Okay."

That's basically how the conversation went, he's ask me questions, i'd answer them. He told me a lot about the machines I was connected to and what they did, I found it very interesting. I learnt how the cannula helps me breath, and I have one in my arm as well.

Eventually they let me sit up, I could now see out the window. There was beautiful grass, surrounded by roads and ambulances. Just like a normal hospital.

There's a knock at the door and I turn my gaze from the window to the plain white door.

"Yes?" I say.

"You have visitors miss. They've been waiting in the waiting room all day. Can they see you?"

"Sure." I say, 4 teenage lads walk in, looking sad. 3 of them sit in the chairs around my bed and a colourful haired one stands awkwardly. I shuffle my legs so there's a space at the end of my bed. "You can sit there if you'd like." I watch as he cautiously sits down, keeping his gaze on his hands. Why're they so sad? I don't understand...

"Why're you sad...?" I ask innocently, looking at them all. Calum looks up at me, his brown eyes glowing.

"Do you remember us Alexis?" He says quietly.

"Well yes. You're my Cal." I smile at him. As small smile appears on his lips. I smile back. Looking at the blonde one. He looks at me, biting on his lip ring nervously. "You're... Lukey!" I giggle. This is fun, looking at the one with the bandana. I know this one. "And bandana Ash." I say grinning, I look at the colourful one and my smile fades. He looks at me anxiously, I stare at him for a few minutes. He looks down and sighs.

"She doesn't remember me..." He mumbles. C'mon Alexis, what's his name... Think...

"Maybe if you tell me something we've done I'll remember?" I say to him.

"Umm... You said you liked my hair..." He says.

"I do like your hair a lot." I grin widely, hoping he'll do the same. But his face stays blank. I sigh. "Well I guess we haven't done much together then. How long have I known you?"
