Chapter 9

------------Alexis P.O.V------------

I wake up with four faces pearing over me, which makes me jump.

"Lex..." Michael mumbles hugging me.

The flashbacks of last night suddenly come to mind, how did they find me? I hug him back, tightly.

"Guys I'm so sorry I didn't know it was going to happen, I just was walking around and these girls came and stuff so I ran off and it was dark and those guys were there and i told them to go away i promise! But they didn't and I'm so sorry-" I start.

"Alexis stop, it's not your fault okay?" Calum says holding his hand out to help me up. I take it and he pulls me up into his arms. Hugging me as though he hadn't seen me in forever. I wrap my arms around his torso and hug back.

I ignore the pain I am experiencing right now, and let him hold me. Sometimes a hug can fix a million broken bones.

"I told our manager to cancel the show so we can look after you." Calum whispers into my shoulder, which makes me smile slightly.

"Guys please don't worry about me okay? I'm fine, do what you need to do." I say, curled up on the sofa in a blanket.

"What we need to do is look after you love." Luke says, running his fingers through my hair gently.

"You're all so kind to me though..." I mumble.

"You deserve it baby." Michael kisses me, as he walks past.

"We have that award show next week, and you need to be well enough to go." Says Ashton, I nod in response. I'm not up for anything, but the boys are and they want me to go with them.

-----the night of the awards show------

"Michael I'm fine I promise." I say, trying to convince him that I'm well enough to go.

"Are you sure?" He says, holding my face in his hands.

"I'm sure." I say, holding his wrist and leaning up, kissing him.

"Well I don't know if I believe you just yet." He says, smirking. I laugh and kiss him again.

"I need to go put my face on, and try and cover up these marks." I says pulling away.

"Okay. I love you." He says.

"Me too." I run to the bathroom.

We sit in our reserved seats, for the show. I'm wearing a scarlet flowy dress that comes just above the knee, with a silver belt around the waist. I've lightly curled my hair and let it flow around my shoulders.

The boys sit in a row and I sit on the end next to Michael.

"And the winner is... 5 seconds of summer!" The host shouts into the microphone.

They immediately stand up with huge grins on their faces. I can't help but smile, I'm so proud of how far they've come.

They go down and collect their award.

"We wanna say a huge thank you to the fans, we wouldn't be here without you. We love you so much!" Calum says.

"Thank you all for staying by us for this long." Ashton says, grinning ear to ear as Michael holds the award above his head.

It's the after party of the show and I'm sitting at a table with the lads. I just got a diet coke, I don't drink much. Well I don't drink at all really. Michael and Ashton are doing shots and its hilarious the way their faces scrunch up as they swallow the alcohol.
