Chapter 18

--------------Michael P.O.V-----------------
"So are we keeping it a secret?" I whisper to Alexis on the chair next to me.
We are sitting on the deck chairs next to the pool, the other guys are in the pool and some of my other friends and family.
I'm over the moon that she wants to be with me again, I'm going to make it right this time and I'm going to treat her like the princess she is. We haven't told anybody yet but she said I can so I think I'm going to tell the lads they probably won't care but Calum will. I know he likes her, I'm just hoping if he's okay with it I mean, he's like my brother.
"I told you you can tell whoever." She laughs slightly, crossing a leg over the other.
"Okay." I reply, getting up and jumping in the pool splashing her.
"Michael!" She yells, lifting her arms up with her mouth gaped.
"Cmon its just a little water." I wink playfully, and mess around with the others.
"Lexiiiii." Calum whines, swimming up to the edge of the pool and leaning against it.
"Calummmmmm." She imitates him.
"Come innn." He says.
"I don't wannaaaa." I swim next to Calum.
"Throw her in." I whisper in his ear, and his ace turns into a mischievous smirk.
"Guys..." She says worried as Calum lifts himself easily out of the pool and makes his way over to her. "What are you doing!?" She says as he lifts her up bridal style, and she clicks to what's happening.
"Calum Calum no no no no no." She says, clinging on to him. "Don't throw me innnn." She whines.
"I'll catch you I promise." I say stretching out my arms.
She sighs, giving up. "Okay.." And with that Calum chucks her in and as I promised I caught her. Calum jumps in next to us.
"Well now that's over." He laughs and goes back to the others. I see it's awkward between me and him because of he walked in on me and Alexis kissing. But I guess he just needs to understand we love each other and that's that.
My hands hold her hips as we stand in the corner of the pool.
"So are we gonna make out now or?" I say, I wide smirk on my face.
She giggles at my comment, leaning in.

The next day
------------------Alexis P.O.V------------------
So we told the boys about me and Michael and they weren't really bothered but Calum was. He tried to seem happy but I knew he wasn't, I know he has feelings for me. I feel terrible, I must look like such a slut. I just really hope we can stay friends, best friends.
Anyway I've just woken up, I lean over to check the time on my phone.

Today is a special day and it is my first show of the tour for my new album 'light'. I put it out about 6-7 months ago and it has been bizarre, honestly the fans are going crazy and I was number 1 for 2 weeks. I can't describe the feeling, I'm so excited to go on stage and rock it out.
A lot of other stars in the music industry are going to be there also my manager told me, I know the boys are coming, and I think All Time Low as well and some others. They asked 5sos if the can come as they are friends, but that's awesome because these are bands I've grown up listening too.
I don't know much but I know there is going to be a camera following me around for today, for a magazine thing on YouTube or something. The interviewers name is Rob so yeah.

"Hello I am Alexis Smith and this is my first show of my world tour 'light'."I say into the camera smiling. "Let's go!" I say, walking out of the building, a bodyguard comes and leads me threw the fans. I smile and high five some of them, the camera following behind me videoing.
"This is my first venue." I say stretching my arms out. "The O2 arena in Englandio." I exclaim laughing.
"So I need to do soundcheck, why don't you tag along?" I ask, walking up the stage and backstage. "I'll give you a tour of that later." I smile. "Tell me if I sound okay?" I walk onto stage and stand with the microphone.
"Let's start with your single 'light'!" The sound person says and I sing it into the mic.
Light is about there being a light at the end of the tunnel, like yeah you may be going through a hard time but you will get out okay. I have other songs on the album that are a bit more dark, like dark times in my life where I felt like I should end it. It's about that but then look at me now. Look where I've come.
I finish the song and lay down on the stage with the mic in my hand. I make weird noises into the mic and the camera films it.
"Sometimes I do this because it annoys everyone." I laugh.

Before the concert

I'm standing backstage watching my warm up act from the side, I can see all the other celebrities sitting at the top cornered from everyone. 5sos, All Time Low, One Direction. This is amazing, I can't believe they came to MY show.
"Let's do this." I say to the camera as my warm up act walk off, I walk on waving to the crowd.
"Hi!" I say into the microphone. "This is, wow. Thank you so much for coming, I hope you have a great time." I grin, the camera films me from behind, as someone talks backstage as if they were on here.
"Alexis headlines her first world tour tonight after months of waiting and tickets selling out in ten minutes, making it the new world record!"
I start singing a song from my album as the camera videos the crowd.
"Fans kept all the top trends on Twitter Alexis related for weeks in celebration for her new tour starting. Everyone just can't seem to get enough of her!"
At the end of my first 2 songs it's time to talk.
"So how are you all tonight!?" They scream and clap. "You having a good time? I hope so." I laugh. "There are some very special people here tonight as most of you probably know." I point to 5sos, ATL and 1d. "I'd just like to say thank you for coming, it's a pleasure for you's to be here." I smile, noticing Michael isn't up there.
"Anyway, this is a song that most of you should know, sing along if you know the words."
"You ready?"
I start to sing All of me by John Legend.
"What would I do without your smart mouth?

I go to sing the next part but someone sings it for me.

I look to my right and see Michael singing walking over to me, the crowd cheer louder.
We both harmonise together this time, I'm so surprised.

By the end of the song Michael and I are face to face and the crowd are standing and cheering. He smiles, taking his hand in mine and facing the crowd. We lift our arms up and bow together.
"Can I just say, I had no idea this was going to happen." I laugh into the mic, and Michael laughs.
"See Ya guys!" He waved to the audience, he quickly kisses my cheek.
"Good luck babe." He whispers running of stage.
I smile widely and carry on with the show, rocking it out.
At the end of the show I go backstage into my dressing room.
------------Rob (int with camera)-----------
I walk up to the One Direction guys as they are about to leave the venue.
"Are you glad you've finally seen Alexis?" I ask.
"Oh yeah! She very talented and pretty, I think I might have fell in love." Niall laughs to the camera.
"She was even more incredible and stunning in person." Harry says, as he crams his large hands into the pockets of his coat.
"Yeah definitely. We had a great time." Liam says.
"We hope to see her soon." Louis says, sorting out his beanie.
"Ask her if she'd like to hang out with us some time." Zayn smiles following the rest into the van.
As they drive away I see All Time Low walking in my direction with body guards guiding them.
I tell the body guards who I am and they allow me to talk to them.
"Did you have a good time tonight?"
"Yeah yeah I had an amazing time, Jack didn't want to leave." Alex says, looking at Jack. Jack nods and sticks his bottom lip out.
"Do you have any favourite songs?"
"Mine will have to be dreams." Zack nods.
"Yeah, dreams." Rian adds.
"Is there anything you'd like to say to her?"
"Congratulations on your album, just have fun and rock it out." Alex says.
"Yeah, umm you're a great singer and we should definitely hang out some time." Jack adds and they walk off.

"I'm backstage of the O2 arena and 5 seconds of summer are here!" I say, showing the camera the 4 lads standing in front of me.
"Did you guys enjoy the concert?"
"It was awesome to see one of our best mates perform her first show." Ashton grins.
"I can't hear out of my ears." Calum says loudly, laughing.
Michael chuckles, "yeah she definitely has a lot of fans out there. What are they called? Do they have a name?" He asks the others.
"Alexisers." Luke mumbles.
"Lexisisters." Ashton shouts laughing.
"Alexinators." Michael giggles.
"Anyway, I think we are going to go and interview the star now." I say, walking to Alexis' dressing room.

--------------Alexis P.O.V---------------
"How was it having All Time Low and 1d at your show tonight?" Rob asks.
"I mean it was amazing, because I grew up listening to All Time low stuff and they're one of the bands that inspired me to do what I do. And One Direction are all around amazing guys and I love their music and their dedication to their fans. But I must say I have a soft spot for Niall." I wink laughing. "It's just the blonde hair that pulls me."
"He did say that he thinks he fell in love." He says. "So you go for blondes?"
"No no I just like it. I don't really go for anyone, it's just someone that can make me laugh. I like people I can just sit and do nothing with but like still have fun you know?"
"Well it seems you've found your guy Michael Clifford?" He asks.
"Umm Ya Michael and I are dating I guess." I say shrugging and smiling.
"I don't see him being blonde anytime soon!"
I laugh, "I keep telling him. 'If you dye your hair anymore you'll have none left to dye.'" I laugh.
"Can you give us a hint to the next colour he's going to dye it?"
"I would if I knew." I laugh. "He's determined to get me to dye my hair by my birthday."
"Well we will find out soon! Anyway, thank you for letting us follow you around today, congratulations. Have a great time on your tour." Rob says.
"Bye guys love you." I wave at the camera and he stops filming.

The next day
-----

I'm leaving for my tour today, my first stop is America which means I'll have to leave the boys for ages until I can see them again. Obviously I don't want to leave them, but I'm so excited.
We are standing at the bus stop saying our goodbyes.
Michael wraps his arms around my waste pulling me into his chest.
"I'm gonna miss you." He whispers into my hair, gently kissing the top of my head.
"I'm going to miss you too Mikey." I rest my chin on his chest and look up at him.
"I love you." He breaths out, leaning down and gently kissing me, but meaningful.
"I love you too." I mumble against his lips.
'Flight 182 is now boarding'
"That's my flight." I say, slowly pulling away from him.
"I love you so much." He says, his voice cracking as though he's about to cry.
I smile softly, saying my last goodbyes and making my way to board the plane to my future.
I sit in the window seat of first class, putting my earphones in and looking out the window.
Is this really what I want? Do I really want to become famous?
